The next day during the day, Pepper and Tony go for a walk.
Tony: Do you think I did the right thing? Inviting the kid over Saturday to talk?
Pepper: I think so. What happened is concerning. I think he's going through a lot and doesn't want to talk about it.
Tony: That's exactly what's happening. I talked to May.
Pepper: What did she say?
Tony: Well she told me he has been having nightmares again from when he was younger. They started up again. She also told me he quit a lot of clubs he was a part of. Peter's just been really out of it lately. We both agree therapy would be good for him but he shot that down.
Pepper: I see. I think he needs to talk to someone for sure. If he isn't going to talk to someone he knows, a therapist is needed.
Tony: I totally agree. I'm going to see if he will talk to me. If not, I'll try to convince him to go to therapy. I hope he comes Saturday. I haven't had time to check if he answered.
Pepper: I'm sure he'll come and talk to you honey. He looks up to you. But if he doesn't want to talk to you, don't force therapy onto him. Just bring it up when it's a good time. I say this because I know he's the closest thing you have to a son. You care a lot. I do too but it seems like a sensitive topic.
Tony: Yes, don't worry. I will bring it up the right way. Thanks for the help, I needed it.
While Tony and Pepper are walking, Happy drives up to them in a golf cart.
Happy: Hey Tony. Hey Pepper.
Pepper: Hi.
Happy: I just wanted to let you know that I tried to secure the park but the paparazzi are everywhere.
Tony: Okay.
Happy: But don't worry I'll get rid of them. Head of security is on it. Do you guys need anything before I go around the park again?
Tony: Did the Kid answer?
Happy: Oh yeah, he did. He didn't say too much. Just that he would come. Should I drive him to the facility?
Tony: That would be perfect.
Pepper: Thank you, Happy.
Happy: You got it. Go to go Boss. I see some paparazzi. See you later.
Happy drives off in the golf cart.
Tony: Alright well I'm happy the kid is coming. I just want to help him.
