Another month later, school has started up again. Peter is starting this school year off right; he feels healed and healthy unlike last year.
Him and MJ are still going strong. Ned and him are back to being best friends. They have been hanging out almost every day. Ned forgave Peter for ignoring him after Peter told him about everything he's been through.
His life is finally coming together. He can finally talk to all the people around him and express his feelings calmly. He no longer feels the need to hide anything.
Peter is back on the Avenger team. He has been helping out with many missions. Everyone is happy to have him back on the team. Tony even made him a new suit. Being Spider-Man again means everything to Peter. He missed helping and saving people.
He ended up telling MJ that he was Spider-Man. She was surprised but supported him. MJ is proud to be the girlfriend of Spider-Man. Peter is on his way to pick up MJ for a date. He is going to take her swinging around the city in his suit.
He does sometimes worry he'll fall back into the person he was; with depression and his addiction to drugs. But he had an amazing support system and he knows they will all help him in a heartbeat.
Peter is going to therapy still. He is only going once a week but he actually looks forward to going now. It's been good for him to talk about his life and his past.
Eventually he gets to the place MJ and him picked to meet up for their date. She is already there. Peter is a little late.
Peter: hey! Sorry I'm late!
MJ: It's fine.
Peter: Are you ready?
MJ: yeah.
Peter: you're gonna love this.
MJ jumps into Peter's arms and he shoots out a web to start swinging. MJ starts to prepare herself. She's not sure what to expect. She starts screaming. She holds onto Peter for dear life.
MJ: OOOKAYYYY!! OKAY!! OKAY!!
Peter: YOU OKAY?
MJ: YEAH!! I'M JUST NOT GONNA WATCH!!
Peter Parker is no longer alone.
