The team got home Monday morning right before sunrise. The bus broke down so they needed to stay an extra night. All their guardians were there to pick them up. They have school in a few hours.
May picked up Peter. Peter let her know how sick he was so she's happy he's finally home and can look after him. When Peter gets off the bus, May gives him a huge hug.
May: I've missed you, let's go get you some breakfast. I brought you a change of clothes for school.
May and Peter go get breakfast before school.
After school, Peter's day has been beyond exhausting. He can't wait to lay down. Peter walks into his room and sees something on his bed. It's a bag.
He just remembered Happy called him about it when he was on the bus. The bag says "This belongs to you -TS" He looks at the bag. Is that what he thinks it is?
Peter: May, did you know about this?
No answer from May. Peter walks towards the bag and opens it. It's his suit. He puts it on. He's shocked that Mr. Stark gave him his suit back.
But putting on the suit put a smile on his face. He missed being Spider-Man. Is he ready though? Is it too soon? He's still struggling a lot.
All these thoughts were in the back of his mind. Peter would love to hide behind his mask again. But he is starting to realize that won't help at all.
Getting his suit back did give him hope for the future. He knows he'll get better, it just takes time. He thinks this week will actually be good.
