Peter went to the Principal's Office. The two boys figured out Peter's name and called the school. Peter was given detention for the next week after school. Peter missed his therapy appointment. Peter tried to tell the Principal he had something but it didn't work.
Peter knows he was in the wrong but the two boys deserved it. He keeps justifying what he did to make himself feel better. All he can think about is how Mr. Stark is going to be disappointed in him. Peter hates disappointing people.
Peter is also kind of scared to go. home. The Principal called Aunt May. She is not happy with him at all.
MJ is also in detention but not for actually doing anything wrong. She just likes to sit and sketch.
After being in detention for nearly two hours Peter had enough. Peter gets up from his seat and walks out of detention. His emotions. are all over the place right now. He's angry. He's sad. He's overwhelmed.
Teacher: Where are you going? Come back here!
MJ always has an eye on Peter. All MJ can think about is how to get Peter to notice her.
Teacher: Why are you here? You don't even have detention.
MJ: Oh, I know. I just like to come here and sketch people in crisis.
The teacher looks at MJ. MJ picks up her sketchbook.
MJ: Ha, it's you!
MJ knows something is off with Peter because she acts the same way. If only he talked to her. If only he thought about her and not Liz.
At this point Peter is over everything in life. He just can't do this anymore.
