It was morning. Everyone was still asleep, including Millie who started drooling in her sleep. However. Something made littlefoot wake up. It started with a splashing sound, then the laugh of another creature
Littlefoot: what was that?
At first he thought he was hearing things so he tried to go back to sleep, but the splashing continued followed by clicking and loud calls
Littlefoot: there it is again! I've never heard anything like it before. I better check it out
He then got up and remembered his grandparents were still asleep as well as moxxie and Millie so he silently walked away, but not before getting noticed by a still sleepy grandpa
Grandpa: [sighing] Off a bit early this morning, Littlefoot.
Littlefoot: Well, I can't sleep, There's a weird sound and I wanna see what it is
Grandpa: All right. Uh, just be careful.
Littlefoot: I will
With that littlefoot dashes off as grandpa goes back to sleep. Littlefoot follows the clicking and splashing to the flood lands and knew something must've been out there. Then littlefoot saw something surface form the water from far away. He couldn't make out what it was, but it was some kind of marine creature
Littlefoot: hey! That must be some kind of underwater creature! I've never seen one like him before. Hello? Hello? Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you. Hello out there
He looks out to see the silhouette of the creature through the water headed right up to him. He looks to see it breach and was amazed by the sight

It was a yellow Ophthalmosaurus with a purple coloring from its snout to its fluke. It had green eyes and red spots around them. He also had three pairs of stripes. On his snout, on his forehead and where his dorsal fin met his fluke. The marine reptile went back into the water before breaching right up at littlefoot and spat out water at him laughing for joy
Littlefoot: Wow!
The little ophthalmosaurus claps his fins likes dolphin before diving into the water again
Littlefoot: No, don't go! Please.
Then the little icthyosaur spat water at him again. Littlefoot was amazed at the marine reptiles amazing swimming. He had never seen any creature do what he did before
Littlefoot: that really looks like fun! I wish I could do that.
Finally the curious opthalmosaurus swam right up to the young apatosaurus
Mo: [gurgling] Who are you?
Littlefoot: [gasping] I'm Littlefoot.
Mo: "Yittlefoot"?
Littlefoot: No, L-L-Littlefoot. Mo: Y-Y-"Yittlefoot"?
Littlefoot: [laughing] Well, that's pretty close. What's your name?
