It's been a long while since they have seen them and they hoped that they were doing okay. Especially dory and her short term memory loss. They told Bridget all about them when they got back from after defeating Tai Lung months ago and Bridget thought long and hard about how exactly dory got it in the first place
Soon they would be able to learn so as they went to the portal well and went to see that the clownfish carving was glowing meaning they would see their fish friends
Moxxie: well, we better get the tank gang
Bridget: but what about me? I-I don't have one of your mer-imp crystals. How will I breath underwater
Millie: way ahead of ya girl. Red moon thankfully had storage for whole families of people so you can have one of your own
Bridget: well thanks but there's still one little thing I'm kinda embarrassed about
Millie: what's that?
Bridget looks to moxxie and whispers into her ear
Bridget: I'm afraid of cephalopods. It got worse after my run in with an octopus. And the fact that I...can't swim
Millie: oh. Well don't worry. Once we get to the reef I'll teach ya

Then moxxie came with the tank gang and the three of them leapt into the portal well. When they re-emerge on the other side, they all collide in mer-imp form not too far from the reef. It was dark and the sun was still beginning to rise. Bridget looks to see her imp tail, all brown with black fins on the end making her nervous as she tries to move but found it difficult. Millie saw and came right up to her taking her hand

Millie: it's okay. I'll guid ya through the steps. Okay?
Bridget slowly breath sand nods
Millie: okay. Now, slowly lift up your booty and flock your tail, like your old one, like this
She then demonstrates as Bridget slowly copies her
Millie: and stop fighting it. Let your fins guid you
Bridget then slowly inhales as she lifted and lowered where her upper parts of her legs were as she slowly got the hang of it. Soon she was really enjoying it to the point where she couldn't stop. In fact she couldn't stop at all
