ACHINTYA

RAGHUVANSHI

I was standing in balcony of palace hall. After I lashed out on Gaytri I came here. After his call all I thought about his words and those pictures.

Something in me is telling me I am doing wrong.

I know I won't be able to sleep today....

My thoughts broke when I heard my father's voice. "Achintya? You haven't slept?"

"I can't" I said as he stood in front of me. There was a silent between us for sometime

"It's been years Achintya and you are still same effected by it"

"Papa, Not all scars can be healed no matter how much time passes"

"I can't see you hurting Achintya, I saw you suffering enough. I want you to forget it and live your life"  I heard dad's vulnerable voice. "I think it's my fault, I wasn't able to save you" he said.

"No papa , don't say this. It's not your fault neither anyone else's"  I said and walked out from there.

Again it was all silent, but then dad spoke.

"Oh Achintya! Yesterday a file of foreign clients came from office, I forgot to inform you. It's kept in study. You did really great work son! I am proud of you".

Wait...

"Papa, you had it?" I felt so fucking dumb.

"Yes who else can?" He laughed. "No one dares to touch your things Achintya, I wonder how Gaytri is living with you"

As I came in my room I saw no one. Where did she go? I looked at her in bathroom and everywhere but I couldn't see her.

Why do I care.

Fuck it Achintya!" I cursed myself.

You did wrong.

With that thought I slept. Although I was restless all night. Next morning I woke up but she wasn't there. She haven't came all night?

She can't go out She knows no one here, Then where did she go!!?

After the meeting ended I sat on my chair all exhausted. I heard some voices from outside my office and soon I saw a familiar guy entering my office.
