NATE MIKAELSON LEARNED ABOUT BEN'S RETURN BY AN OLD ASSOCIATE OF HIS. He knew that Charlie and Agnes were keeping him hidden for now, while he adjust to time. Nate didn't even know how to handle Ben's return, when Augustine let Nate know of such developments, he was ready to take action and help. But Klaus advice against him, especially with his relationship with Crystal. Klaus told him to figure out what was happening before meeting with him. Ben had once viewed him as friend.
"Sporting a new look?" Klaus asks Ezra.
"Ezra Ayaz Raven, what can we do for you?" Nate asks sarcastically, Nate didn't do favors to people he didn't like or care for, or would benefit him, while he was less violent than Klaus, he had a nasty side, he did things that mattered to him only. Ezra didn'tb fall into either category. Klaus looks amused at Nate's behavior.
"It's Crystal." Ezra tells him, one name that sent Nate into the deep end. "She's in trouble." He says cautiously.
"What happened?" Nate's eyes are cold, and a few shades darker than normal.
"She's in a coma." Ezra begins to tell him everything he knows, which isn't much. Charlie called him for help, any help he could get. Nate had an ingredient they needed for the ritual.
NATE AND EZRA ARRIVE AT BOBBY'S, CHARLIE WAS SETTING THINGS UP. "IT SHOULDN'T be you Dean, with her psychological state, I think her seeing your worst memories might affect her for the worst."
"So who should it be? You? You're the one leading this." Dean says.
"I was thinking I would go in, Brooke and Ezra would lead it." Charlie says, fully prepared to allow Crystal see some of his most shitty memories, deepest part of his messed up self, and the hopes and dreams of his.
"Bobby! You need to invite someone in." Brooke says entering.
"Who?" Dean asks.
"Me." Nate says and everyone's gaze turns to look at him.
"You said to bring anything useful. He's an original, he's deep dived someone's mind before." Brooke says as her brother, Dean and Bobby stare at Nate. The dirty haired blonde was waiting for Bobby to invite him in. "And he has the ingredient we need."
"Invite him in, Bobby." Dean glares at the blonde.
"With this, she'll see this worst part of you and you'll see the worst part of you." Charlie warns him, truthfully he was more worried for how Nate's psyche would react and affect Crystal in the long run. She's made so much progress.
"You won't stake me?" Nate asks Dean, Dean didn't care for Nate, but he wouldn't risk staking him while him and his sister are in each others mind.
"Not until you save my sister," Dean glares at him. "What you're not asking Bobby?"
"He's noble." Nate states with a shrug. Truthfully he was nervous, Crystal was about to see part of him no one has ever seen to tell the tale. "And wouldn't risk her."
