Day 22: Love By The Fire - Quackbur = Fluff

I sat down by the fire holding myself with my wings and playing with my ring seeing Wil out of the corner of my eye in the kitchen, "Baby, do you want something to drink?" I shook my head and stretched my wings out.

"Look at your beautiful wings, baby," He came over and sat down on the floor next to me, "Don't-" I held them close to my body and he moved closer to me, "Whyy, they're so pretty."

He gently grabbed one of my feathers and straightened it out, "You want me to make them even more pretty?" I sighed and opened out my wings he started to preen them being gentle with the feathers and taking out the ones that were loose, "How did you already get these so tangled duckling?"

I shrugged and continued to play with my ring, "You like your ring ducky?" He chuckled threading his fingers through my feathers and straightening them out.
"There we go... straightest thing in the house," He laughed and pulled me closer resting my head on his chest, "I hate you."

"I love you too," He pet my head and held me closer kissing the top of my head.
