A New Flame (Sanemi x Deaf Reader)

Chapter 14

-Sanemi's POV-
Aoi opens the door in a hurry as she responds with, "Yes, Shinobu-san?" Aoi said, as she was taking deeper breaths as if she had ran across the mansion.

"Can you get these two some extra blankets to sleep on since they will be staying here for the night." Shinobu stated with a simple smile as she left the room.

When I told (Y/n) that, she started to panic saying she was going to go home to see Senjuro after the meeting.

*Okay, okay calm down, you can just send him a letter with your crow.* I said, pointing to her crow as it flew into the room with a message of some sorts.

*Nora.* (Y/n) signed to me leaving me confused for a second. 'Nora? Is that her crow's name? That's actually pretty cool.' I thought to myself as Aoi came back with more blankets.

"Thank you." I muttered loud enough for her to hear me before she bowed and left the room. (Y/n) seemed to be reading a letter from her brother as it says 'Senjuro' on the front of the parchment.

*What are you reading?* I asked, while leaning over her with the blankets over my shoulder.

I then decided that it was better to settle the blankets down on the bed behind us. *It is a letter from Senjuro saying it was alright to stay the night somewhere since it is almost 2am…*

'It is really only 2am? I thought it was 12am or maybe even 1am.' I thought to myself before throwing a heavy blanket over her head.

-(Y/n)'s POV-
I felt something get wrapped around my head. I started to panic at first, but then I assumed that it was Sanemi-san and played along with it.

I pulled the blanket off my face as it covered the rest of my body. I moved my hands till they could be visible as a laughing, while Sanemi was 'dying' (laughing) on his bed.

*Am I too attractive, so you had to hide me.* I flirted as it took him a couple seconds to process what I had said before he started flirting back.

*No, you just seemed a little cold over there so I threw a blanket at ya.* He signed, grinning slightly.

'I have the feeling he doesn't know how to flirt…' I thought about his comment for a minute before signing to him. *I use flame breathing, how would I be cold?  I circulate the flames around my body so I am not cold.*

He just stared at me like 'What the fuck are you talking about,' but he didn't say anything.

*Ohh okay.* He signed, but I knew he was totally confused. I flatten out the blanket on the bed as I also seen Sanemi do the same thing.

I then started to write Senjuro back, worried that father might do something dumb. 'Not like he doesn't do anything not dumb.' I thought to myself as I finished writing on the coffee colored parchment.

Suddenly something hit me in the head, and I look down to see that it was a piece of paper. I looked at him to see that he was turned away from me.

I decided to open the paper and it just had some simple words. 'Good night…' It said. It made me happy inside and I turned to the dresser drawer next to me and opened it putting the paper in one of the haori pockets.

'Such a dork.' I laughed to myself, not noticing that I was blushing like crazy.

-Sanemi's POV-
*I use flame breathing, how would I be cold? I circulate the flames around so I am not cold.* She said with a straight face. I couldn't tell if they were being serious or not.

I then thought it was the best idea to  though, so I replied with, *Ohh okay.* I signed totally confused, but started to get the bedding ready, so I could go to sleep.

After a few minutes of silence I was going to tell her good night, but I think I heard her humming? It sounds peaceful, but the hums cuts out every now and then.

This made me blush as red as a tomato, so I quickly wrote down 'Good night' and took my time to throw it at her head and laid down turning away from her.

I felt incredibly awkward as it was silent. I then heard a little laugh. But it was different…. It wasn't like the normal laughs when she would laugh with Senjuro. This was different...

'Oh my god, oh my god, I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack.' I said, face clearly flustered and hand clutched over my heart.

I then heard her turn off the lights with a 'click.' She then heads back to her bed and I heard the covers ruffle and stop. 'She just be going to bed too.' I thought as I eased my mind falling asleep soon after.

Hi, hello sorry I haven't updated in a little while, I have been having to work on a creative writing story for English, and I been working on that since I got to get to 2000-3000 words, but knowing me and my story imagination....

It gonna be more than that.

But I hope you like the fluff chapter. It took me like one class period since all we did was homework, and I usually finish my homework quickly.

I hope y'all have a good day or night, and give me some ideas, I do take suggestions. 🙂
