Lyla was starting to get tired of sneaking down to the cellar in the dead of night, she wouldn't willingly admit it but the place gave her the creeps. Yet, there she was crawling into the passageway with the group, and in wanting for this little scavenger hunt to go quick she headed straight for the light switch and flicked it on."Surprise, surprise." Patricia spoke, as they all noticed everything was back in it's usual spot, before Victor had magically cleaned the place out.
"It's all back in place... He may be creepy but he is good." Nina acknowledged.
"Stuffed cat..." Amber pointed out, sadly. Lyla placed a hand on her back in comfort, having to look away in disgust, "Let's just- Hurry up, shall we?" Lyla rushed.
Fabian nodded, "Right, we know why we came here... Let's get searching." They all nodded in agreeance and went to look around the place, but before they could even move one step the lights had flickered off, spooking them.
"It's okay, it's okay... Don't worry." Fabian said, calming everyone down as he gestured towards his torch, signaling to use them.
"Okay..." Lyla breathed out, as her and Nina walked over to a table with a ton of scales resting on top of it. The two shared a look filled with confusion and worry; having no clue what they were for, and not sure if they wanted to find out.
Lyla practically jumped out of her skin as a loud bang sounded from across the room, making Amber gasp. "What was that?" She asked hurriedly, "Nothing." Fabian responded, seemingly unsure of himself.
"Victor has been busy." Fabian recognized as Nina went over to him, looking at a few bottles that resembled the 'elixir', while Lyla hesitantly walked over by Amber. The girl suddenly felt as if they weren't alone, and while she didn't like that feeling and wanted to leave the cellar immediately, she also couldn't stop herself from examining the room.
"Which one is it?" Nina wondered, as they looked through all the strange liquids, trying to figure out which was the right one. Lyla shined her light on a tall, old looking wardrobe and cautiously started walking towards it.
"This is the one I saw him drink from." Fabian decided, holding up a bottle, "Are you sure?" Nina asked him.
The boy shrugged, "As I can be... It looks the same-" Everyone jumped as a familiar wailing noise echoed across the walls, making Lyla jump back from approaching the creepy wardrobe. "I really hope that was another cat." Amber said from behind Lyla.
