Three months had passed since the revelation to the Order and the death eaters were none the wiser about Peter, he fed them lies about the Order and each one they ate it up. He'd found that turning into his Animagus form was easier to get information that wasn't mentioned at the meetings, it was a piece of cake hiding as a rat around the halls.

"He gave me his diary," he overheard Lucius telling Rodolphus.

"Diary?" he scoffed. "What on earth for?"

"His reasoning was to keep it safe."

"Has it  got all of his deepest darkest memories in it."

"It's empty."

"Maybe it's a horcrux?" Rodolphus shrugged.

Lucius began to have a smug smile. "Do you really think he would trust me with that?"

"You'll be his right hand man, Malfoy."

"I'm keeping  it in a safe place."

"Yeah, where's that?"

"I'm not telling you."

"Oh come on, Malfoy, no one else is here. Tell me."

Lucius sighed. "Under the floorboards, in the dining room."

"That is the most obvious place, Malfoy."

"It is not. Only a rat could climb through there to retrieve it."

Peter placed down the leather bound diary on the table, the Order looked at it then back at Peter for an explanation.

"What's this?" Sirius asked, looking at the golden marked letters.

"Voldemort's diary."

"It's been three months and all you found was his diary? What's he written about? How is his day going?"

"Pads," James sighed, "I'm sure Peter's got a reason, right Pete?"

"He gave it to Lucius to look after. He and Rodolphus think it's a horcrux."

Dumbledore perked up, it had been the first time during this meeting. "Let me see that?"

"I've never seen a horcrux," Marlene said, a hint of excitement in her voice.

"I've had my suspicions for a while, I didn't think he would have actually done it." he spoke with insight.

"So it is a horcrux?" Sirius asked.

"Indeed it is. Well done Mr Pettigrew."

"So all we have to do is destroy that and then Voldemort we'll be able to get rid of him?" James asked. "Well figure out how to destroy it..."

"I'm afraid it's not that easy. Knowing Tom this would not be his first or last." he turned his head towards Peter. "You must get closer to Tom Riddle. Find out more, he might even trust you with another of his horcrux."

Peter nodded, "I'll do my best."

The meeting disbanded, it was always an awkward moment for him, everyone huddled into their groups, he was always left on the side lines now. He saw Benjy who was heading towards the door.

"Hey, Benjy,"

"You alright, Peter?" he said, glancing at his watch.

Peter nodded. "How is she?"

"She's fine."

"You say that all the time... how is she actually?" he asked.

"I don't know what you want me to tell you, mate. She... she doesn't talk about this stuff. She avoids talking about you. I'm sorry."

Peter nodded understandably. "Thanks, Benjy."

Benjy gave him a small smile. "She will one day. I think she just... there's a lot of guilt from her side and she just needs a bit more time."

"I know. Thanks again." Peter pressed his lips into a small smile, "I've got stuff to do, see you later.

He knew she needed time, but Peter didn't want to wait.

He missed her dearly, they'd never gone even a week without speaking but it had been nearly four months now. He wondered how long he would have to wait just to see her smile.

That seemed impossible now, he didn't think he would ever see it again.

Aries sighed loudly. She had missed a lecture once again, she'd watched the clock cursing herself to get up but her body wouldn't let her. The hours rolled on, the ticking became the only thing she could hear. She told herself to take out the batteries but that seemed like too much effort and her wand was too far away.

Her stomach began to growl at 6 o'clock. She groaned as she stood up, walking past the mountain of unopened letters from Peter, deciding she would finally have her first meal of the day, technically it's breakfast if she had woken up at 3pm, right?

There was a knock on the door, "It's your favourite person in the world."

"Hey Ben." she smiled, opening the door for him.

"God, you look a right state."

She let out a small sigh. "Love you too."

Benjy walked straight past her and into the kitchen. "What are you cooking?"

"Spaghetti Bolognese."

"Nice," he said, taking a seat on the kitchen side. "How are you?"

"Fine."

"Air?"

Aries cleared her throat, placing the mince into the pan to brown.

"Did you go to your lessons today?"

"Yes."

"Liar."

"I tried."

"How far did you make it?"

"The left side of my bed."

Benjy shook his head. "How many lessons have you missed?"

"This week? Only one."

"It's Monday so I would hope it would be one." he watched as she stirred the mince. "He asked about you today."

Aries pursed her lips, adding chopped tomatoes into the pan, her eyes began to sting.

"Asked how you are. Told him you were fine." he continued.

A lump formed in her throat. All she wanted to do was see him, hear his voice, laugh, see his smile,  but she couldn't...she couldn't face him.

"Is he okay?" she asked in a small voice, she turned towards Benjy.

He nodded. "Yeah. He misses you."

She let out a small breath. "I miss him too, I just. I just can't-"

"He knows. It's hard for you both."

She wiped tears from her face.

"Oh, Air." Benjy said, softly, he slid off the side and pulled her into a hug.

"I hate my family." she muttered into his chest.

"I hate your family too."
