Peter waited anxiously, he had chewed the skin on his thumb so much it was red raw and throbbing. His eyes hadn't left the door as he waited for Aries and Sirius to get back.

"It's been an hour, how long do you think they'd be?" Benjy asked, he uncovered his watch then looked up.

"As long as it takes them." Dorcas said, she was sitting next to Marlene, the two held hands in comfort.

"You don't think they ran into their mother do you?" Benjy said.

Peter and Remus shared a glance; he'd only ever seen Walburga Black on the Platform at the beginning and end of school years, although her daunting looks always made him feel on edge.

That was the thing with Aries that he loved, she was nothing like her family. She was kind and in Peter's words, wonderful.

He would do anything for her.

He would die for her...

He would kill for her.

A loud crack disrupted everyone, Sirius walked in his arm around Aries, her skin looked pale.

Peter stood up abruptly walking towards them.

"Air?" Sirius said.

"I'm fine-"

"What happened?" Peter asked, his eyes didn't leave her.

"Nothing-"

"Aries, she used the curse." Sirius cut her off.

"She used crucio?" Peter questioned, protectively.

"I'm fine, it was barely a second. Look I've got this," She opened her hand to reveal the gold necklace. "What do we have to do?"

Sirius checked the drawers pulling out a basilisk fang and handed it to her, Aries looked at him.

"You found it." he nodded. "You can destroy it."

Peter watched as she stared down at the locket then up at him, he gave her a reassuring nod. She nodded in return, taking a deep breath.

"It will be quick, just... stab it and it's over." Sirius told her, mimicking a stab.

Aries placed down the locket on the ground, holding the fang in her fist, her knuckles were white from the tight grip.

She was ready to go but as she raised her hand the locket opened a large blow of smoke pulled around her.

"What's happening?!" she called out, but she seemed to be caught off guard.

Peter's brows furrowed as another version of himself emerged from the clouds, his eyes looked evil, a taunting smile on his lips made the hairs on his arms stand up.

"Aries." the doppelganger said, his voice was gnarly as he grinned. "Oh sweet little Aries,"

"Air, it's not real!" Sirius called out but she wasn't listening to him.
