29. Escaped

Jungkook Pov:

I was laying on something soft and comfortable. My fingers could feel a warm fabric covering my body and I wanted to keep on staying like that forever. Was I dead? Did my suffering finally end? Those thoughts didn't last very long because a huge pain went down my spine and I pressed my eyes together tightly. A quiet whimper left my mouth and I started wiggling around but that just made my pain even worse. I ripped my eyes open and saw that the fabric I was laying on was actually a bed. I warm and soft bed most likely out of silk.

It has been a while since I slept this comfortably. Maybe I was actually dead? But then why was I in pain. I tried to slowly lift my arm and touch my back only to feel something wrapped around me. Was that bandage? Did someone clean my wounds? Was I saved? Did somebody come to save me? Because I these thoughts I had to quickly sit up in the bed and look around hopefully. I was in a dark room that had a weird almost scary red wallpaper and ropes hanging from the ceiling. It made me shiver. Only the bed was warm and nice. I wanted to close my eyes and just feel the soft fabric under my body but my thoughts quickly went somewhere else once I look over to my side. It was him. He was sitting there in an arms chair with closed eyes calmly sleeping. It almost looked like an actual person not a monster. So I was still with him. This was still the place he brought me to. I was still between his hands. He could still do anything that his messed up fantasies desired to me. I was scared. I was so scared that I wanted to vanish into thin air. All I could think about was survive. You need to survive. There is nobody just you. Nobody will save you so save yourself. It's now or never. I took a deep breath and slowly climbed out of the bed. Every single part of my body hurt so bad but I had to swallow the pain and get through it. This might be my only chance. Once I was finally on my feet I looked around and saw the door right in front of me.
"Alright Jungkook. Just three steps. You can do it." I tried to calm myself in my head but that was really hard with a demon like Taehyung sleeping right next to me. One. It was hard to walk because of all the pain but I blocked it out. Two. I looked over to see if he was still sleeping and thank good he was.

Three. That was the last step. Now I only had to grab the handle and hope that it is not locked. I reached out and slowly pushed the handle down while still staring at Taehyung, making sure that he wouldn't wake up. I couldn't believe it but the door was actually open. That was my lucky day. I slowly opened it and hoped that it wouldn't make any weird noises and once it was enough for me to fit through I didn't hesitate. I ran outside and didn't stop even though I had no idea where to even run to.

Every direction I went to was a dead end. Only doors next to doors. No window and no exit. I felt trapped. There must hä been a way out. I stopped for a second just to look around and between all the doors I saw one that looked bigger then the others and instead of black it was a very dark red.
"Now or never Jungkook. You already said goodbye to your life so there is nothing you can loose." I collected myself and ran up to the door. Hesitantly but eventually I managed to twist the handle and once I opened the door the view frightened me. It was indeed the exit door but now I didn't know if I even wanted to go out there. Everything looked so dark and sad. All the trees were completely naked or fully burned down. No birds in the sky just a black spot. No green just earth. I was really terrified but there was no other choice. I hade to run and don't stop. So I did so. I ran and ran ignoring the pain in my whole body. There must have been somewhere a way out I just had to find it.
