(Y/N): Giovanni? What are y- You're the Gym Leader?
Giovanni: You weren't expecting me?
(Y/N): NO!! No I wasn't! Team Rocket in charge of a Gym? You hand out the Earth Badge?
Giovanni: Yes. This battle will be broadcast to all the Team Rocket agents scattered around Kanto. Give them a good fight to watch.
(Y/N): Very well!!
Giovanni: Go Nidoqueen!
(Y/N): Go Snorlax!
Snorlax woke up from its nap inside of the Pokeball.
(Y/N): Up and at em Sleepyhead!
Snorlax got ready to fight.
Giovanni: Nidoqueen, Mega Punch!
(Y/N): Snorlax, use Body Slam!!
Snorlax rammed into Nidoqueen, which sent it right into a wall.
Giovanni: Now use Skull Bash!
(Y/N): Counter with Hyper Beam, Snorlax!
Snorlax hit Nidoqueen with a Hyper Beam, and took damage at the same time.
But then Nidoqueen collapsed.
Giovanni: I can see your Pokémon haven't faltered in strength. Very well. Go Rhydon!
(Y/N): Go Lapras!
Giovanni: Use Horn Drill Rhydon!
(Y/N): Lapras use Ice Beam!
Lapras froze Rhydon in place.
(Y/N): And finish it with Body Slam!
Lapras KO'D Rhydon.
Giovanni: How unfortunate. It's your turn Golem!
(Y/N): Alright! Lapras use Surf!
Giovanni: Golem use Earthquake!
The ground rumbled, but Lapras pressed on and hit Golem down instantly!
(Y/N): YES!
Giovanni: Now I've saved the best for last. Go Nidoking!
(Y/N): Alright! Go Charizard!
Both Charizard and Nidoking clashed with each other, and unleashed a struggle between Flamethrower and Hyperbeam!
(Y/N): COME ON!
Giovanni: Only one outcome can come from this.
And-
BOOM!!
Nidoking collapsed.
(Y/N): YES!!
Giovanni: Well done. It's over.
He gives you the Earth Badge.
(Y/N): You're just giving it to me?
Giovanni: You have given it your all. And now I can see that even if I were to try another plan, you would only stop that one. Team Rocket is done.
(Y/N): Giovanni.
Giovanni: Sympathy? I didn't expect you to show me any.
(Y/N): I- Whatever you do with your life, make it count. And I hope your men do well.
Giovanni: Best of luck to you, future Champion.
(Y/N): Right.
Meanwhile...
Several members of Team Rocket saw it all.
Including-
Jessie: WHAT?!
James: HE BEAT THE BOSS?! FOR REAL THIS TIME?!
Meowth: What? What does that even mean for us? Where do we even go from here?
Jessie: It's not over! We find that twerp! And we make him pay! We'll chase him all over to another region if we have to!
And...
???: Giovanni, lost? No, Team Rocket is not over. Boss; I will continue your dream. I swear it.
He begins contacting several agents.
???: Team Neo Rocket will rise from the ashes!
On the Indigo Plateau...
Blue saw the entrance to the Pokémon League.
Blue: You're going down Elite Four. (Y/N), don't keep me waiting.
