The next day I woke up early. I had some things I needed to get done before work that night. One of them included going to the store to get some essentials. While I was in the store I saw Aubrey. She wasn't alone though. I thought about approaching her but I wasn't sure it was a good idea. I was gonna turn around and go the other way but she saw me and waved. I waved back and she started walking towards me with her. "Hey Bruno! What are you doing up and out this early?" - "Just gotta pick up a few things" I say and watch as the guy I saw with her moments ago walks up. "Bruno, this is Alex, my boyfriend. Alex this is Bruno, the guy from work I've been telling you about." - "Hey. Good to meet you Bro" he says "Yeah, you too!" I say shaking his hand. "Aubrey says you're gonna be a singer. Good luck with that man!" He said kinda sarcastically. I see Aubrey roll her eyes at him and shake her head. Right at that moment I decided that I didn't like him. "Yeah. That's the plan." I said and look over at Aubrey. "Catch ya later Aubs" I say and she smiles and waves. "See yah." I get what I needed to get and leave.
