Chapter 13

*Solstice*

"What!?" I shouted

"Quiet!" Pan hissed.

"That doesn't make any sense! I can't be! Your lying!!" I shouted back at him

"Solstice, either you need to shut up or I will have to kiss you again."

His words shut me up instantly.

"Too bad, that was such a good opportunity too." He smirked.

"Pan! Stop it! This is serious! You can't just say I'm a Blue Star then act like everything is okay! I'm in big trouble!"

He said nothing.

"Oh my gosh. My sudden outburst yesterday, that-that was my power. My Blue Magic!?" Panic began to rise in my chest, slowly making its way to my throat to suffocate me. "It all makes sense now! I couldn't control myself yesterday because that was my Blue Magic! That explains why my skin was shimmering, why my eyes were bright, why my skin felt hot. Oh my gosh I'm a Blue Star..."

I couldn't comprehend what this meant. I was part of an extinct race which were more powerful than witches or even the Dark One if taught right.

"Pan!" I shouted, "I don't understand! Shine is the last Blue Star in existence. None survived the sickness." I stated with horror.

"Apparently there are now two Blue Stars." He said dryly.

"But-But the sickness wiped out the Blue Star race...no Blue Star could survive, well except Shine..but that's a whole different story. Pan I don't understand."

"Maybe fate choose you for some reason." Pan said.

'This is ridiculous!
How in the world could he know this!? How did he even know I was a star!?
How did he know my name!?'

Questions swirled violently in my head. I needed answers.

"Pan." I stared at him, a twang of fear spread across my face, "how'd you know?" I paused, looking at his blank expression, "How did you know who I was!" I stared to raise my voice at him. I was tired of his secrecy.

He just stood there for a moment then sighed, "I don't really feel like telling."

'There he goes again. One moment he's nice-ish and the next he's retreating back into his sarcastic shell.'

I huffed in frustration, "PETER! this isn't funny!!"

Pan snickered, "you know, you ask so many questions. But I like the entertainment of the game. The puzzle. The mystery."

I said nothing, I just glared at his dark figure. We stood there in silence for a minutes until I finally spoke, "Does Cale know I'm a Blue Star?"

Pan raised his eyebrow, "He knows your a star. Just not the special kind."

I sighed, relived, "How did Cale even find out I was a star?"

Pan sighed, "It really doesn't concern you."

My mouth fell open, 'is he serious!?'
"This completely concerns me!!"

Pan let out an amusing chuckle, "Not at the moment." He lowered his voice, "Peter Pan never fails."

My eyes shot upward, resting on his green ones. "what?"

Pan said nothing else. He turned on his heel and strutted away, leaving me confused and hurt.

"Peter Pan never fails." Pan's words echoed in my thoughts. What did he mean.
