The first thing Charity saw when she woke up was Allie crumpled against a wall.
"AHHHH!!!!!" Charity would not stop screaming.
Lights outside the hospital turned on. Heads poked out windows in alarm.
Allie's fingertips glowed gold, stopping Charity's murderous screams. She stared at Allie in wonder, shock, and alarm.
Flambo rushed in, he hugged Charity, his gentle touch stung. Her eyes stayed on Allie.
Flambo followed her glance, horror filled his face.
"Allie!?" His voice quivered.
Sunny tended to Charity's medical equipment. Unaware of the crumpled girl on the floor.
"Sunny!" shouted Flambo.
"What?!" she yelled back.
"Why is everyone screaming?" Polan said after barging into the room. "GAH!"
He ran over to Allie in a panic.
