Gloria threw a pencil like a dart at a makeshift dartboard she had created out of tape, old school textbooks, and a picture of the current president's face. She had been doing this for about an hour and a half.
Will Roger and the others come back soon? It's deadly boring down here. Will they even survive?
Gloria pushed away that thought, but it came back.
What if my brother dies? What if Roger dies?
She was exploding with worry, she grabbed her hologram messenger and tried to message Roger.
He wouldn't pick up.
Something went wrong.
Suddenly some men bursted through the door and the lab filled with smoke.
"Take'em down boys!" An unseen man shouted and everything went black.
