Selena decided to go home to wait for Nick as she figured that it might take him a while with Olivia. She was thinking of watching a movie or something with Elvis. But she figured settling down with a book and a red wine would sound good for the evening.
She walked to the kitchen to the wine rack under the counter, they had a lot. She didn't remember that they were drinkers. There were both white and red wine. She pulled out the Pinot Noir 1998, she looked at it and felt it would be an expensive one so she put it back immediately and looked for another one.
"Hmm... Chateau Latour 1990, sounds good eh Elvy?" she reads the bottle then pulls out a wine glass and poured the red substance into it. While watching the wine pouring into the glass container she suddenly felt her knees weaken and the entire world began to spin. She brushed it off and put the cork back on the bottle. She held onto the counter for stability as she closed her eyes for a minute.
She took a deep breath just before taking her wine to the couch with her. Elvis trailed behind to make sure she wouldn't fall, not like he could do too much but he would be able to help in a way.
Selena took a sip of the glass and sat on the couch. She opened her book and planned to start reading but then she sighs and puts it on the coffee table and turns the TV on.
"I think a movie like the Vow sounds good right Elvis? Better than my boring book," Elvis made no reply but just lies down and faces the TV, she giggles and goes to insert the DVD.
After being into half of the movie she finished almost her entire glass, she looks at the wine glass and starts to feel herself go weak. A flashback comes on and she sees herself in the same position with the empty wine glass and she sat on the couch letting the TV play whatever is on TV as she cried. She felt her heart drop, where was Nick, she thought.
"How come I feel so light hearted inside?" she frowns, then settles the glass down as she starts to lie on the cushion a closes her eyes. "Perhaps a sleep will help."

After he dropped Olivia off at her house, he came straight home. He quickly parked the car and went inside their home-sweet-home, it was already 9, he stressed about the time as he ran inside.
"Babe I'm home," Nick announces, he slips off his shoes and waits for her to run out to him, but then again, it's already 9 she may be asleep already. He puts his bag down and runs upstairs to their master bedroom, "Babe?" he calls but when turns the lights on she wasn't in their bedroom.
He jogs back down the stairs where he heard the TV, all this resembles too much to a pathway he's walked down before. He steps closer to the couch where he found her sleeping tiredly on, and he sees the bottle of wine. He was terrified to discover that she may have remembered everything from the pass.
He sighs and brushes a few strands of her hair behind her ear. He smile watching her sleep so peacefully, he ducks and kisses her cheek. She blinks her eyes open and smiles when she sees him.
"You're finally home," she stretches her arms.
"Yea, I had to take Olivia to the HR and talk about her resignation letter," he lied, but quickly changes the topic, "But why are you sleeping on the couch?"
"Hmm? Oh I was watching a movie and I fell asleep."
"Have you ate yet?" Nick asks, but she shakes her head.
"I'm not that hungry."
"But you still got to eat," he frowns at her, "How about a PBJ sandwich?"
She frowns because she really didn't feel like eating especially when it is already 9:00 but to have her husband prepare a dinner for her, she cannot reject that offer. She finally nods and watches as he goes to the kitchen pulling out two slices of bread and inserting it into the toaster. She enjoyed watching how concentrated he could be just for making a simple sandwich as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
