The Oletus manor was obviously a dangerous place. People were thrown into games in which they were forced to die over and over again, and though injuries were healed afterwards, you could still get hurt outside of the games. That's what had happened to the embalmer this time. The man had slipped in the stairs and thankfully was able to catch himself before ending into a disastrous fall, but he had twisted his arm at the same time.

There was an infirmary in the manor so he went there, hoping to see perhaps Dyer or Mesmer, only to find that the room was completely empty. What to do now, he surely couldn't bandage himself up with only one arm as much as he was knowledgeable about first aid. Just as he wondered so, a violent shiver ran down his spine when he felt a warm breath tickle his neck.

"Need some help?" Aesop turned around and his expression twisted at the sight of the fire investigator. Despite his title, he couldn't help but find him quite shady or disgustingly familiar, though he didn't really understand why. Other than that, he was simply repulsed because the latter kept sticking to him all the time and calling out to him. Hell, he thought he was currently in a match so why was he even here- "I can do it for you if you want."

Florian sketched a smile as he pointed to Aesop's arm. The embalmer wanted to refuse but he knew Florian would stay with him if he waited for someone else to arrive so he thought the most logical thing to do was to let him do so, this way he could go back to his LOCKED room faster. Florian was a firefighter so he would get the job done easily, right?

"Please." He said curtly.

Aesop then sat on a chair with an annoyed face as Florian searched inside the cabinet to get the things needed to treat him. He settled them on the table beside and dragged another chair in front of the embalmer. Aesop begrudgingly took off his jacket so the other could bandage him up and thus Florian started to work on it.

"Hey, aren't you making it too loose-" Aesop scolded him.

"Oops, my bad. Let me redo it." Florian let out a chuckle as he unwrapped his arm and started from scratch once more. Aesop's brow twitched, this was definitely on purpose. This time, Florian sure did the bandage tighter, but Aesop could also feel his fingers threading a bit too much on his skin. And at this point, he wasn't sure if he wanted to punch him or inject him with some bromide and fix his face more. "All done~"

"Took you long enough."

"But I did it well, right?"

"I guess it's acceptable..."

Aesop put on his jacket back, or at least tried to do so until Florian slid an arm around his waist and dragged him closer.

"Sorry, what should I do to have you forgive me?" He said in a honeyed voice.

"Are you mad- We're in the infirmary, anyone could enter at anytime-"

"Hmm..." Florian's smile dropped. However he quickly leaned in and lowered Aesop's mask before giving him a peck on the lips, making the other blush suddenly. "I guess that will have to do for now."

"Crazy bastard..."

"Mhm? Isn't it this bastard's name that you screamed so lou-"

Aesop grabbed his face forcefully before he could speak another word and glared at the blond, which shut him up immediately. The embalmer finally dressed himself back correctly and stepped toward the door. He stopped in front of it and gave Florian a side glance just before leaving.

"Knock three times on the door."

Aesop opened the door and left, just at the same time as the doctor passed through as well.

"Brand, what are you doing here- Everyone is waiting for you in the waiting room!"

Later in the night, when the hallways were dark and empty, the fire investigator hummed lightly as he stopped in front of a specific door, and knocked thrice. The door opened slightly, only darkness being visible past the frame. Florian was about to say something but he was snatched inside first. The last thing that could be heard in the corridor before the door shut was a delirious laugh.
