Chapter 43: Are you insane?!

Hey my awesome readers!! So as I said before I will be updating every weekend!
There will be alot of William and Christy moments, especially and extra special one towards the end of the chapter...so please don't get your panties in a twist... ;)
P.S this chapter is only written in Christy's POV, but I promise I will try to write the next chapter only in William's POV...

Christy's POV

Its been 2 weeks since William and I have broken up and since I last saw him...and I have been missing him like crazy! I love him so much but I don't think he will ever feel the same way about me...

I drowned myself in my work so I would forget about how much I was missing him.

As for the crisis in Washington, I had to bump up security there, as someone tried to hack into our servers but thanks to my brilliant IT staff's programme, we were able to secure the servers.

"Miss King." George the head of IT department walked into my office.

"Yes George."

"We have been keeping a close watch in Washington and things seem to be going okay." He said adjusting his glasses.

"That is good. Keep me updated if anything were to happen." I said and dismissed him.

I looked back at my computer and started getting to work.

"Christy." Melanie said walking into the room.

"Yes Melanie." I said a bit annoyed that I couldn't get my work done.

"You need to take a break, it is not healthy for you to be going on like this." She said in a concerned voice and gave me a little glare.

"Melanie, this IS my break." I said to her.

"Well now it is not. You are going home or else I will call security and have you escorted out of the building." She threatened and I could she the smirk in her eyes.

"Really Melanie? Using my staff against me?" I stared at her in disbelief.

"I am not joking Miss King." She said stubbornly.

I gave a frustrated sigh."Fine, keep me updated on things and you will not stop me from checking on things." I said shutting down my computer and gathering my things.

"I think I can accept that as long as you just relax." She smiled and walked out of my office.

After packing up and saying everyone a goodbye, I took the elevator down to the parking garage.

The elevator doors opened with a 'ding' and I walked out heading for my car.

I stopped in my tracks as I saw a familiar person leaning against my car. I walked right up to him and glared at him.

"What are you doing here William?!" I shot daggers at him but a part of me was thrilled to see him.

"I came to see you." He said bringing his cigarette to his lips.

"What is this?" I snatched the cigarette away from him and smelt it."Weed? Really William, what are you thinking?!" I glared deadly at him, the thrill of seeing him vanished and replaced with rage.

"Nothing." He shrugged and I got a whiff of his breath.

"Were you drinking?!" I was furious at him.

"Yeah, what are you going to do about it?" He slurred.

"Just get your fucking dumb ass in the fucking car." I instructed him and he got in as I got into the driver side and drove us to my apartment.
