I was just lying in bed when I heard a sudden knock at my door. It was 6:00pm on a Friday night. I groaned and paused my tv show that I was binge watching. I got out of bed and ran downstairs. My parents were away on a business trip so I was alone in the house.
I opened up the front door to reveal my rather hot best friend, Grayson.
"Sup girl." He said as he leaned against the door frame.
"Hey gray." I say opening the door wider, meaning for him to come in.
"So I was wondering.." We both sat on the coach.
"I'm going on a date tomorrow at the beach with Carly but I'm kinda nervous so will you come with us?" Grayson played with his fingers.
"Sure but... Uh... I don't wanna be the third wheel, ya know?" I lightly laughed.
"Oh! Sorry! I forgot to say um... Will you come on a double date with us? And uh.. Take Ethan?" He mumbled the last part. I've never really gotten along with Ethan. He always kind of bullied me from a young age I guess. I'm just not really excited.
"I don't know gray.." I bite my lip, hesitating.
"Come on!! For me?!" He does those cute puppy eyes that I can't resist.
"Fine..." I say, blushing.
"Yay!" He cheers. He hugs me tightly.
"I love you! Sleep well! See you tomorrow!" He runs out of the house.
I wave at him and laugh.
"I love you..." I say sighing and heading back to bed.

*next day*

It was finally Saturday. Yes! I'm gonna eat, sleep- wait.... I have to go on that stupid date with Ethan...  

I decided on wearing a pretty beach dress with my triangle bikini underneath. I put on my flip flops and put a towel, my purse, my earphones and phone in my beach bag. I quickly called Grayson though.

Grayson: hello?

You: hey

Grayson: y/n! How are you? Ethan's coming to pick you up now! I'm going to pick up carly.

You: oh.. Okay.. Um.. See ya.

I hung up and took a deep breath. Carly and Grayson have been dating for a while now and I don't know. She just doesn't seem to be that crazy about him. At this one party that we went to, she flirted with jack dail and Grayson didn't even realize. I guess he's just a bit clueless.

Then I heard a car horn.

Great..

I locked the front door and hopped in the front seat.

"Hi." I said to Ethan. He didn't even look at me.
"Look.. Let's just get this over and done with. Got it?" He says, speeding down the road.
"Geez.. Harsh much?" I muttered, pulling out my phone and checking snapchat.

We eventually arrived at the beach and we saw Grayson placing the picnic blanket down while Carly talked to the lifeguard, twirling her hair round her finger. I rolled my eyes and got out the car. I took my bag with me.

Ethan and I walked over to Grayson and greeted him.
"You're looking very pretty." He whispered in my ear. I felt tingles go up and down my spine.
"Thanks." I said, sitting down.

After about 10 minutes, Carly walked over. Ethan quickly got up and hugged her.
"Hey Carly.." He blushed.
I shook my head.
"Hey eth.. Do you wanna go in the water?" She said taking off her cover up. Her body is goals, not gonna lie but I couldn't be bothered with slut-bag hoes like her.
They ran to the water, leaving me and Grayson behind. I was tanning in my bikini already and Grayson just in his swimming shorts.
"So..." He says suddenly making things awkward.
"So..." I repeated.
"Look, I'm not trying to upset you or anything but I think Carly-"
"Likes ethan?" He guessed looking at me.
"Yeah.." I said gritting my teeth a bit.
"I know." He said as if it's no big deal at all.
"So you're just gonna let your girlfriend flirt with your brother?" I asked him confused.
"Mhm." He said, staring into my eyes.
I laughed.
"I can't believe you! You brought me along just to let your date ignore you! Wow, I'm leav-" I was about to get up and go but got cut off when Grayson slammed his lips onto mine.

We both pulled back at the same time. I smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Y/n I love you more than a friend. We've known eachother for a long time and I guess I've never had the balls to tell you that.." His cheeks turned a crimson color.
"Grayson.. I love you too." I said with a goofy smile. 

"Uh.. What's going on here?" Carly said looking down at us, giving me the death glare.
"Carly.. I liked you and all but you seem more interested in Ethan. I think it's best if we broke up." He said with a small smile.
"Oh, sorry Grayson. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings but yeah, I guess you're right." She walked back over to ethan. He hugged her so I'm guessing they hooked up.
"How bout a real date?" Grayson smirked at me.
"Sounds good to me." We both kissed again and put some clothes over our bathing suits.

We went to a restaurant on the beach and had an amazing night....
