Vanessa's POV:

Week three of our joint hiatus is going swell! It's Wednesday and that means Survivor. Jeff looks at me and we watch the show. We think about how it's brutal being sports entertainers but the action on the show looks ten times tough then a Twist of Fate or a Figure Four Leg Lock. After the scenes and the confessional ends, Jeff gets up and walks to a gift I open it to revel a Tadhana Buff form Survivor Blood vs Water and Jeff has a Villains Buff.

Jeff's POV:

As Vanessa and I put on our Buffs, her phone rings. I let the diva take the call. An hour later, Vanessa is on the stairs crying. Dean was injured in a match and had to be taken to the hospital. I grab some sheet music and I write a song. An hour goes by, I sing it.

The broken clock is a comfort, it helps me sleep tonight
Maybe it can stop tomorrow from stealing all my time
I am here still waiting though I still have my doubts
I am damaged at best, like you've already figured out
I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart that's still beating
In the pain there is healing
In your name I find meaning
So I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on
I'm barely holdin' on to you
Vanessa sings the next verse
The broken locks were a warning you got inside my head
I tried my best to be guarded, I'm an open book instead
I still see your reflection inside of my eyes
That are looking for a purpose, they're still looking for life
I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart that's still beating
In the pain is there healing
In your name  I find meaning
So I'm holdin' on  I'm holdin' on  I'm holdin' on
I'm barely holdin' on to you
We finish the song
I'm hangin' on another day
Just to see what you will throw my way
And I'm hanging on to the words you say
You said that I will be OK
The broken lights on the freeway left me here alone
I may have lost my way now, haven't forgotten my way home
I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart that's still beating
In the pain(In the pain) there is healing
In your name I find meaning
So I'm holdin' on I'm holdin' on  I'm holdin' on
I'm barely holdin' on to you
I'm holdin' on  I'm holdin' on I'm holdin' on
I'm barely holdin' on to you

As the song ends, Vanessa looks at me and we go to the hospital.

Vanessa's POV:

We stop at the pediatric ward to make some kids smile. A teenager asked if Jeff and I could sing a happy song. I grab a couple of stools and we sing.

When you're on your own
Drowning alone
And you need a rope that can pull you in
Someone will throw it
And when you're afraid
That you're gonna break
And you need a way to feel strong again
Someone will know it
And even when it hurts the most
Try to have a little hope
That someone's gonna be there when you don't
When you don't
If you wanna cry, I'll be your shoulder
If you wanna laugh, I'll be your smile
If you wanna fly, I will be your sky
Anything you need that's what I'll be
You can come to me
You struggle inside
Losing your mind
Fighting and trying to be yourself
When somebody lets you
Out in the cold
But no where to go
Feeling like no one could understand
Then somebody gets you
So take a breath and let it go
And try to have a little hope
'Cause someone's gonna be there when you don't
When you don't
If you wanna cry, I'll be your shoulder
If you wanna laugh, I'll be your smile
If you wanna fly, I will be your sky
Anything you need, that's what I'll be
You can come to me
Like a chain that never breaks
Like a truth that never bends
Like a glue that takes a broken heart and puts it back again
It's the feeling that you get
It's the moment that you know
That no matter what the future holds
You'll never be alone
If you wanna cry, I'll be your shoulder
If you wanna laugh, I'll be your smile
If you wanna fly, I will be your sky
Anything you need, that's what I'll be
If you wanna climb, I'll be your ladder
If you wanna run, I'll be your road
If you want a friend, doesn't matter when
Anything you need, that's what I'll be
You can come to me
You can come to me
