A week later in Dallas, I see a really bad change in my little brother. I'm in a panic and I call Vanessa.
Vanessa's POV:
My phone lights up with the picture of Team Extreme 2.0 on the red carpet. I pick the phone up to a frantic Matt on the other line. I listen to the sheer panic in Matt's voice and it sounds like he's crying. I'm trying my best to calm the worried Hardy Brother down and I reassure Matt that i'm on my way to Dallas, Texas where Monday Night Raw is going to be. I'm getting on the flight from Tampa to Dallas when I see Ashley and Wade are on the same plane! Wade offers me the window seat and I explain why i'm going to Dallas on my hiatus. Wade tells me that i'm doing a noble thing for a distressed friend. The plane lands at Dallas Love Field Airport and we get our bags. As i'm in the rental car, I look at Wade and Ashley worried about Jeff. We enter the hotel and get checked in. I'm on the seventh floor with John and Zack. I'm thinking about all the stuff I have to do when the elevator stops on the fourth floor. I look confused as the doors open but I didn't have time to question the stopped elevator. I get out and try to find the room Matt and Jeff were staying in. I trip on a leg and instantly the person looks up. I noticed Matt sitting on the outside of the door of the room that he's sharing with Jeff.
Matt's POV:
I look at Vanessa with tears streaming down my face and I tell my friend what happened. I start recalling everything in the moments leading up to the phone call. I give the Diva my key card so she can talk to my little brother.
Vanessa's POV:
I take Matt's key card and I open the door to the room. I see that it's pitch black but a shadow on the wall causes me to jump. I look at the figure to see Jeff on the wall with his head buried into his face. I walk slowly to the wall and I sit down next to Jeff. A song comes to my mind and I sing it.
