Matt's POV:
Vanessa and I race to Jeff's room. I look at my brother worried and Vanessa talks to Jeff.

Vanessa's POV:
I ask Matt to give Jeff and I some time alone. I sit on the bed and Jeff looks at me with tears streaming down his face. My heart starts to break as I see the extreme one breaking down. I tell myself not to worry and just comfort the superstar. I start to sing softly.
Please don't cry
You know I'm leaving here tonight
Before I go I want you to know there will always be a light
And if the moon had to runaway
And all the stars didn't wanna play
Don't waste the sun on a rainy day
The wind will soon blow it all away
So many times I'd planned
To be much more than who I am
And if I let you down
I will follow you 'round
Until you understand...
That if the moon had to runaway
And all the stars didn't wanna play
Don't waste the sun on a rainy day
The wind will soon blow it all away
When the days all feel the same
Don't feel the cold or wind or rain
Everything will be okay
We will meet again one day
I will shine on
For everyone
So please don't cry
Although I leave you here this night
Where ever I may go how far I don't know
But I will always be your light
And if the moon had to runaway
And all the stars didn't wanna play
Don't waste the sun on a rainy day
The wind will soon blow it all away
When the days all seem the same
Don't feel the cold or wind or rain
Everything will be okay
We will meet again one day
I will shine on
For everyone
Shine on
For everyone
When the stars all look the same
Don't feel the cold or wind or rain
Everything will be okay
We will meet again one day
I will shine on
For everyone
I will shine on
For everyone

I hear a piano playing and Matt starts singing

I have often dreamed of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome,
would be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer,
when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying,
this is where I'm meant to be
I'll be there someday,
I can go the distance
I will find my way,
if I can be strong
I know every mile,
will be worth my while
When I go the distance,
I'll be right where I belong
I run to Matt's room and I sing the next verse.
Down an unknown road to embrace my fate
Though that road may wander,
it will lead me to you
And a thousand years,
would be worth the wait
It might take a lifetime,
but somehow I'll see it through
And I won't look back,
I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track,
no, I won't accept defeat
It's an uphill slope,
but I won't lose hope
Till I go the distance,
and my journey is complete
We finish the song.
But to look beyond the
glory is the hardest part
For a hero's strength
is measured by his heart
Like a shooting star,
I will go the distance
I will search the world,
I will face its harms
I don't care how far,
I can go the distance
Till I find my hero's welcome,
waiting in your arms
I will search the world,
I will face its harms
Till I find my hero's welcome,
waiting in your arms

Matt closes the piano but something inside makes him reopen it. I look at Matt and I sing.

Vanessa:
In a perfect world
One we've never known
We would never need to face the world alone

They can have the world
We'll create our own
I may not be brave or strong or smart
But somewhere in my secret heart

I know
Love will find a way
Anywhere I go I'm home
If you are there beside me

Like dark turning into day
Somehow we'll come through
Now that I've found you
Love will find a way

Matt:
I was so afraid
Now I realize
Love is never wrong
And so it never dies
There's a perfect world
Shining in your eyes

Vanessa and Matt:
And if only they could feel it too
The happiness I feel with you

They'd know
Love will find a way
Anywhere we go
We're home
If we are there together

Like dark turning into day
Somehow we'll come through
Now that I've found you
Love will find a way
I know love will find a way
