Vanessa's POV:

I'm at the Performance Center, thinking about Dean. A song come to my mind and I sing it.

Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody
When the nights are long
'cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easy
Yeah when my world is falling apart
When there's no light
To break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
When I look at you
I see forgiveness
I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars hold the moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not alone
Yeah when my world is falling apart
When there's no light
To break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
You appear just like a dream to me
Just like kaleidoscope colors that cover me
All I need
Every breath that I breathe
Don't you know you're beautiful
Yeah, yeah, yeah
When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
I look at you
Yeah,
Whoa-oh,
You appear just like a dream to me

I'm leaving the Performance Center and Matt texts me some lyrics to a song he's working on. I sing it.

I know this isn't what I wanted,
Never thought it'd come this far,
Just thinking back to where we started
and how we lost all that we are
We were young and times were easy,
But I could see it's not the same.
I'm standing here but you don't see me,
I'd give it all for that to change.
And I don't want to lose you,
I don't want to let you go.
I'm standing out in the rain,
I need to know if its over,
Cause I will leave you alone.
Flooded with all this pain,
Knowing that I'll never hold you
Like I did before the storm
And with every strike of lightning
Comes a memory that lasts
Not a word is left unspoken as the thunder starts to crash
Maybe I should give up
I'm standing out in the rain,
I need to know if its over,
Cause I will leave you alone
Flooded with all this pain,
Knowing that I'll never hold you
Like I did before the storm
Trying to keep the light from going in
And the clouds from ripping out my broken heart.
We always say a heart is not whole without the one who gets you through the storm.
Standing out in the rain, knowing that it's really over- please don't leave me alone
Flooded with all this pain knowing that I'll never hold you like I did before the storm

I arrive back to Tampa. As i'm getting ready for bed, a rock hits my window. I open it to see somebody soaking wet with rain. I ask the person to take off the hood that was on. The person did and I gasped as I see Matt.

Matt's POV:

I ask Vanessa if I can spend the night due to a fight with Jeff. My best friend comes and opens the door. I get in the house and head upstairs to the guest bedroom.
