Last chapter was proof of her trust issues. You guys still don't actually know her character yet.
All this time she was focused on helping Alaricas and not focused on herself. Now that Alaricas is better, you're going to see all her fears. You're going to understand why she has trouble trusting and why she assumes quickly.
Don't be so quick to judge her character just yet. There's alot you don't know. Including a huge fear that will have a worse reaction from her.
Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions. :)
