Emily's pov

*~two months later~*

I was getting ready for another Saturday at Mahogany house. It had become kind of our tradition to gather all together at ones house and spent the day together, either go to the beach or at the mall or to the cinema, or even stay inside. It was always fun no matter what we ended up doing.

I threw on my 'guns and roses' tee shirt with a pair of black shorts along with my usual black converse. I grabbed my bag and put on my sunglasses since the sun was bright that day. I walked downstairs and hugged my mom goodbye, before heading out. I had finally convinced my mother to get a car since I had my licence but never got to buy my own.

I got in my car and drove to Mahogany house. Once I got there, I saw Cameron's, Nash's and Matt's cars already in the driveway. I parked somewhere nearby and walked up to the door. I placed a couple of knocks on the door and waited for a while until Mahogany opened the door and greeted me with a hug.

We walked inside and to the living room, where I found all the boys laughing about something I wasn't aware of. "Hey look who showed up" Nash exclaimed, noticing me standing. "When do I not?" I laugh, walking towards Cameron who was sitting on the couch. "Hey baby" he smiled up at me as I approach him. He pulled me down on his lap and pecked my lips. "Ew get a room!" Nash teased and I stuck my tongue out at him. "Couples" Taylor rolled his eyes jokingly.

"What do you guys wanna do?" Mahogany asked and everyone shrugged. "Hey let's go to the carnival!" Matt suggested and everyone agreed. We got up and got in the cars. "I'm riding with Emily" Cameron called and I shook my head laughing. We've been getting along great those past two months of our relationship. I've never been so happy before, he just makes my every day.

We got in my car, I on the drivers seat and Cameron on the passengers. "You know how to drive right?" he raised an eyebrow at me. "Oh please, I'm probably better at driving than you are" I flipped my hair. "Now, how do I make this thing start?" I said jokingly and his eyes widen. "I'm joking!" I laughed and he cracked a small smile. "What, don't you trust me?" I realised an eyebrow and he chuckled lightly. "You know you have my full trust" he said. I started the car and started to drive towards the carnival, while Cameron turned up the radio and hummed along at the song playing.

We soon arrived at the carnival and parked the car. We found Taylor, Carter, Nash and Matt. "Where is Mahogany?" I asked. "She said she would be here soon" Matt informed me. We waited for her to arrive and once she did, we all payed for out tickets and got in.

"Where do you wanna go first?" asked Carter. "Let's go to this ride" Mahogany suggested, pointing to a roller coaster. We all agreed, walking towards the roller coaster. "Emily, I need to tell you something" Cameron said holding me back. "What is it?" I have him a worried look. "It's nothing bad. It's just that... I got back in touch with my father. He recently moved in New York with his new family and he wants me to visit them. I'm leaving tonight" he said. "This is great Cameron! I'm so happy for you" I smiled widely while hugging him, although I was a little bit sad he was leaving. "How long are you staying with him?" I questioned. "Um... a month" he said and my heart shattered.

I've never gone so long without him. I was so used to being with him every day. I didn't know if I could even make it without him that long, it seemed impossible. "Oh..." I trailed off. "I'm sorry Em" he sighed. "Its okay Cameron, it doesn't matter. You're going to be with you father, I'm happy you'll have some bond time with him after so long. Don't worry about me" I lightly smiled. As much as it bothered me, I couldn't get in between him and his father.

"Let's go and have some fun now,we don't have the time to be sad, you're leaving tonight!" I motioned him to follow me to the roller coaster as I begun to walk back there. Suddenly, he grabbed my wrist pulling me back to him. He held my waist close to him as he smashes his lips on mine, kissing me passionately. I couldn't help but smile during the kiss. "I'm so lucky to call you mine" he smiled down at me once we had pulled away. I couldn't help but blush at his words.

We got back to Mahogany's house. Everyone was crashing there for the night, except Cameron of course. When we got back the sun had already set. We were all in the living room, chatting and watching TV. I was sitting on the couch with Cameron's arm resting on my shoulder. I didn't want him to leave. Only then did I realise I wasn't going to see him for a month, I wasn't going to be able to feel his touch or hug him.

Cameron looked at the time at his phone and sighed. I turned to look at him. "I have to go" he announced and I nodded sighing. He got up and and exchanged goodbyes with everyone. I walked him to Mahogany's door, I didn't want to say goodbye. We walked out of the house, it was already dark outside. "So..." he trailed off, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

I was holding back my tears, I didn't want him to see me cry and feel bad. I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly, as he wrapped his stronger ones around my waist. "Be careful" I whispered in the crook of his neck. "I'll be just fine babe" he chuckled at my concern. "I know, I just want you to know that I care" I sighed, blinking my tears away. "We'll talk every day, I promise" he rubbed his thumb on my cheek, tucking a few strands of hair behind my ear. I nodded with a small smile.

"I'll be back soon Em. You won't even realise I was gone" he reassured me. "Okay" I said. He leaned in placing his soft lips on mine. Every time we kissed, it felt just like the very first time. I was never tire of him. I never had enough. Our lips moved in sync for a couple of seconds, before he pulled away, hesitantly.

"Bey Emily" he said kissing my cheek. "Bey" I said, my voice coming our weaker than I thought it would, barely audible. I watched him walk to his car and start the engine. I waved at him one last time before he was completely out of sight.
