Mark's POV

I woke up on a park bench in the middle of...um?? Where am I? What's going on with my hands? They're cartoony, oh, I am so killing Matt when I get home! NO MORE POPCORN NIGHTS ALONE WITH YOU! What did Ryan put in my drink? This is like deja vu but I've never seen this place before? I haven't worn my Google shirt since I made that video with Matthias, and I don't remember putting it on today, so how am I wearing it? I heard a tree branch snap in the brush behind me. "Slender? Tis that the sound of you?" I ask trying to calm myself down. "Are you going to hurt me?"  I heard a girl say? "What?" I ask standing up. "If I come out, and do as you say, will you promise you won't turn me in?" she sounded terrified.

"Show yourself," I said walking towards the forest. That's when I saw her. The most beautiful girl in all of creation. I nearly choked on my own thoughts. "I've done as you said," She replies hanging her head down. "Why are you scared of me?" I ask and her head snapped up and her eyes darkened. "I'm not!" She pushed to the ground. "I"m tired of your games Mark! It's time I teach you a lesson!" She yells and I back up. "Wait! I don't know what you are talking about!" I struggle my way back up to my feet and continue to back away. She kept heading towards me until we heard a weird humming sound in the distance. "Viruses," she mumbled.

She started to run away. I was confused until I looked behind me. Then I started running! It was a whole swarm of just angry...fast...robotic?..people running after us. What the hell is going on I want answers! I eventually caught up to the mystery forest girl. Her (insert length)(color) hair was flying in the wind, her frame was perfect and her (color) eyes were gorgeous. I snap out of it noticing she passed me and we kept running until she stopped.

"Why'd we stop they're going to catch up!" I say with urgency looking at the crowd behind us. She ignored my statement avoiding eye contact. "Look, I don't know about you, but I don't wanna die today!" I step in front of her as she turned her body as if she was going to face them head on. "Please I don't want you to die," I grab her shoulders from behind and her head snapped up and we both saw they were getting closer and closer. "No Stop!" I yelled.

I lunged in front of the girl and I close my eyes tight expecting to be killed. When I noticed nothing was happening I opened my eyes and looked around. There was a pink force field surrounding us both and the enemies passed by as if we weren't there. I look down at her and we both were dumb founded. "I'm y/n, and I'm guessing you're not Mark," She looked scared and potentially confused. "Look, y/n, I promise I'm not here to hurt you, actually I don't know why I'm here or where is here, and last time I checked I was Mark..." I trailed off more confused than I should be.

"No no no Mark Fischbach, he's on my hit list and you look like him so I thought it was him-" I cut her off, "Hold it! My name is Mark Fischbach, my middle name is Edward, I am 26 years old, I was born in Oahu, Hawa-" Next thing I knew she pulled out a pocket knife and sliced my arm open. "OWW!!!!" the force field around us crumbled. "Mother Trucker! What on Earth was that for!" I yelled and she smiled.

"Markiplier!" She hugged me as I held my arm in pain. "Yes I'm still Mark, it's me! Why did you cut me?" I ask as she begins to rip fabric off the bottom of her shirt and dress my wound. "To make sure you were human? We are stuck in a virtual reality!" She said in an all to comfortable voice. "Like an oculus rift VR?" I ask. "Sure? Wow, I never knew how much your digital copy could actually match you to a tee," She walked around me checking me out. I felt my cheeks begin to burn, "Really? Wow, it would be so cool to actually meet h-" she cut me off,  "Except he is a total bag of bolts."

"And that means?" I question her word choice? "Sorry, used to speaking computer, but since your not, I think the appropriate translation would be a jerk," she replies. "Oh, well, I can say this much. I promise I'm not a Jerk. Well me, not the other Mark because I don't know him, but I is not a bag of- this is confusing meh brain? "You need a break. The first day is usually the most overwhelming and stress-filled. I'll take you to my hideout and we can rest there," she smiled and began walking.

We walked and talked for what felt like forever, which I don't mind at all! I love talking to y/n, she is nice, funny, and she definitely has a personality! We arrived at a tree house looking thing.

M: Hey, I remember this? This was my old tree house back in Cincinnati.

I climb up the ladder and it defiantly doesn't look like my tree house from Cincinnati. It has to be a little bigger, but there is a bed right in the middle of it, a desk and a bookshelf, and a lot of beer bottles. "Well look at little Ms. alcoholic," I smirk trying to lighten the mood. This place was dark, and now to think of it, almost Deja Vu. "Read the label," she says unpacking her backpack. "No way? They have IBC Rootbeer here?" I pick up one of the bottles and examine it. "How do I know this isn't some sort of weird dream?" I ask throwing the bottle into a trash can. "I cut you, it hurt didn't it?" she asked. "Yeah, but you can still feel pain in dreams. "You were bleeding Markiplier. If you want you can unwrap your arm. If this is a dream it would be healed," she spoke and hung her backpack up.

I poked my arm and winced in pain, "I'll take your word for it, so where do you want me to sleep?" I ask. We could share the bed...but that's up to you?" she says nervously. "I don't mind," I say with a smirk and I wiggle my eyebrows for extra effect. "Markiplier!" she hits my arms and grabs a pile of clothes from a bin that I just now noticed. "WHAT!?" I asked pretending to be clueless. "No...just stop!"  she says walking into a bathroom. "Okay," I

I take off my tee shirt and put on a RED FLANNEL!!!! that just so happened to be in the corner of the room. Y/n then came out of the bathroom with red plaid pajama pants and a black tank top. Her hair was pulled back into a pretty cool messy bun. I climbed into bed and she followed climbing on the other side, Then I noticed that it was dark out and the whole room was still illuminated.

"The moon is 12x brighter here so we can see the Viruses if we are still outside," I guess she noticed my concern. "You call them viruses?" I ask her. "Yeah, they were like the programs at first, but then their human either died in the real world or in here and they just fell off the program and went, rogue," she replies yawning. I was almost asleep to her voice but I have one last question. "Y/n?" I asked closing my eyes. "Yeah?" she says rolling over. "Will we ever get out of here?" I yawn. "Yes...We'll find a- a way..." she stuttered but I as too tired to be concerned.

She drifted off to sleep and so did I.
