Dinner

Takes place when Emily invites Ali over for dinner, but I'm switching it up so all the girls are having dinner with them now 💗

The five most known girls in rosewood all stood on Emily's porch nervous for the awkward dinner that they know they were about to have. "Hey guys it might not be that bad." Ali said as they all glared at her. "Okay sorry for trying to make it better." She said putting her hands up defensively. "I just hope Ms. Fields doesn't quiz Ali anymore." Aria said, "God I'm so tired of those." Ali groaned. "Well that's what happens when you lie and say you were kidnapped!" Hanna whisper yelled. "Hey you're not that innocent you were the one who tried to help Ali run away again." Emily said with her arms crossed, "Guys shut up." Ali said as they all looked at her, "Can we all just not fight for one night, one night worry free and enjoy dinner?" The blonde asked as Emily smiled at her, "Ali's right." Spencer said. "Even though this might be really awkward we should all just calm down." She added. "Yeah I'll take Ms. Fields cooking any day, no matter how awkward." Hanna said as they all nodded in agreement. "Ladies the food is ready!" Pam yelled from inside. The five girls then made their way into Emily's house and all sat at the table. "I hope you guys like lasagna!" Pam said cheerfully as the girls all smiled, "Hey if you made it I'll eat it." Hanna said as the rest of the girls nodded in agreement. After Pam served the girls she then served herself and sat down next to Emily. "So Alison, how does it feel to be home?" Pam asked as Ali smiled, "It feels good, I mean my father and Jason are still kind of adjusting." The blonde said smiling lightly at the older woman. "Oh I'm sure they are, I'm assuming your father is probably scared to even let you out of the house!" Pam said as Ali looked down at her plate. "I-I'm sure he is." She said quietly as all the girls looked at each other confused. "Uh so how was your day mom?" Emily asked as she gave Ali a "we'll talk later" look. "It was okay, how was yours?" Pam asked as Emily smiled, "It was good." The brunette said. "Ms. Fields this lasagna is amazing." Ali said smiling widely at Pam. "Please call me Pam honey, and thank you it's Emily's favorite thing to eat." Pam said. "Okay sure." Ali said sarcastically in her head. "I'm sure it is." She said out loud smirking at Emily. "So Hanna honey how's your mom doing?" Pam asked as Hanna smiled, "Uh she's fine, she's been pretty busy with work and going out of town and stuff." Hanna said. "Oh Emily honey I forgot to tell you, Paige stopped by this afternoon." Pam said. "And there it is." Hanna mumbled lightly as Ali, Aria, and Spencer glared at her. "Oh really?" Emily asked kind of uninterested. "Yeah she was looking for you." Pam said as Emily looked at Ali who was staring uncomfortably at her lasagna. "We aren't really speaking mom." Emily said as Pam furrowed her eyebrows. "Oh dear what happened?" Pam asked concerned, "Uh nothing really." Emily said awkwardly as the rest of the girls shifted in their seats. "Well is there someone else? Another girl maybe?" Pam asked Emily blushed, "Mom!" She said as Ali smirked which didn't go unnoticed by Hanna. "Alison honey does your father want you home at a certain time?" Pam asked as Ali's smile fell, "Uh he's not even in town right now." She said awkwardly, "Oh dear, Jason is with you though right?" Pam asked concerned for the blonde, "Uh no actually I don't know where Jason is." Ali said truthfully as Emily looked at her concerned, "You didn't tell me you were alone." She said as Ali looked at her, "I-Its not that big of a deal Em." Ali said trying to laugh it off. "You could of told us Ali." Aria said. "Uh guys it's nothing to tell, my dad goes out of town all the time." Ali said hopping they would all just drop it. "Alison honey i would think your father would at least stop going out of town so much." Pam said feeling really sorry for the girl, "It's really no big deal Ms. Fields, if you guys haven't noticed my dad isn't really affectionate or caring." Ali said as they all sat in silence, "Which is completely okay!" Ali added with a fake smile trying to be strong. "Well I'm stuffed, that was a lovely dinner mom." Emily said coming to Ali's rescue as Ali sighed silently in a relief. "Thank you for the lovely dinner Pam." Hanna said smiling at Pam. "Yeah it was honestly the best meal I've had in months." Aria said as Spencer nodded, "I second that." She said as Pam smiled at them, "It's no problem you guys are welcome over at any time!" Pam said cheerfully as Ali stood up and grabbed some plates, "Alison honey what are you doing?" Pam asked confused, "I thought since you already cooked such a lovely dinner, which was amazing by the way, I could at least do the dishes." Alison said taking everyone by surprise. "Oh thank you dear but I can handle it, why don't you all just go hang out!" Pam said as Ali smiled at her, "Alright Ms. Fields, thanks for the amazing dinner." Ali said as Pam smiled at the blonde. "Maybe she really has changed." Pam thought as she took the dishes from Ali. The five girls then made their way outside to Emily's porch again. "I'm so fullll." Ali groaned as she sat on the swing. "Oh no you know why we came out here." Spencer said as Ali looked at them all and the girls each crossed their arms. "What I do?" Ali asked as Hanna rolled her eyes, "Alison you literally lied to us again." She said as Ali furrowed her eyebrows, "What?" She asked confused, "You told us you weren't going to be alone this weekend." Spencer said, "I'm not going to be alone, I have Pepe." Ali said trying to lighten the mood. "Ali Pepe runs away from cats." Aria said as Ali sighed, "Guys I can take care of myself." Ali said as Hanna rolled her eyes, "Whatever Ali, then you gotta go give some sob story on how your dad isn't affectionate or caring." Hanna said as all the girls stayed in an uncomfortable silence. "What?" Hanna asked as Ali got up and walked back into the house. "Hanna it wasn't a sob story." Spencer said as Hanna furrowed her eyebrows, "What do you got against Ali Hanna??" Emily said angrily as Spencer and Aria looked at each other. "I mean I know she's not a great person to you, not even close, but have you ever considered what years on the run feels like?? I mean she didn't get to see her family for years Hanna. Just to come back and find out her moms dead, Jason's just been acting weird, and her dads still an asshole." Emily said as Hanna looked down. "It's okay Em, I'm fine." Ali said walking outside and joining the others. "I think I better get going though, I might have forgotten to fill up Pepe's dinner bowl." Ali said giving a small laugh. "Ali I'm sorry." Hanna said to everyone's surprise. Ali was more surprised at the fact Hanna called her "Ali". "I know I haven't been fair to you, I'm sorry." The taller blonde said truthfully as Ali smiled lightly, "You have nothing to be sorry for, I know me being back is weird and you don't fully trust me, but I'm willing to show you that you can trust me, all of you." Ali said truthfully as Aria and Spencer smiled lightly. "Come here." Hanna said as she hugged Ali and Ali soon hugged back. "Aw I wanna hug." Aria said as she hugged Ali and Hanna. "I mean since we're all doing it." Emily said hugging them too. "Come on Hastings get in here." Ali said as Spencer rolled her eyes but smiled as she hugged them. "Well I better get going, my dad wants me home tonight." Aria said as they all pulled away. "Yeah me too my parents are still badgering me about school." Spencer said, "When are they not?" Hanna asked. "Well goodnight emison we will see you guys tomorrow for our daily "A" talks." Hanna said sarcastically. "We do not have daily "A" talks." Aria said as Hanna, Spencer, and Aria walked off of Emily's porch. "We so do." Hanna said as they all got into their own cars. "You know I've been staring at your legs in that dress all night." Emily said smirking at Ali as Ali rolled her eyes, "Your mom was wrong when she said your favorite thing to eat was lasagna." Ali said as Emily got closer to her secret girlfriend. "Really?" Emily asked playing dumb. "Yes really." Ali said as she put her arms over Emily's neck. "You know Hanna knows something's going on." Ali said as Emily smiled, "Oh I know, nothing gets passed Marin." Emily said.

Emily's pov
"We should tell them." I said as Ali looked at me, "Really?" She asked happily as I nodded, "Really." I said as she went deep in thought, "What are you thinking about?" I asked her as she looked at me, "Just thinking about how I've been waiting for you to kiss me all night and you still haven't." She said said cutely as I laughed. "Oh really? Alison dilaurentis has been waiting on me? I thought she waited on no one." I said as she grabbed the collar of my shirt and hungrily kissed me. At first I was shocked but I soon kissed back, "Well apparently she doesn't wait on anyone." My mom said smirking as I practically jumped. "Oh hi mom." I said nervously. "Uh we can explain." Ali said as I looked at her waiting for her to lie. "Emily and I have been dating for 3 weeks, no one knows not even the girls, we were waiting till we were ready and well Emily was also waiting to see if this was real." Ali said truthfully as I stared at her in shock. "I was not waiting to see if this was real." I said as she rolled her eyes, "You so were." She said smiling. "We're sorry we didn't tell you Ms. Fields it's just things haven't been the best lately for any of us." Ali said as my mom looked at her and she gulped, "I only have one thing to say to you Alison." My mom said as I stared at both of them nervously, "Welcome to the family." My mom said smiling as she wrapped her arms around a shocked Alison. "But if you hurt her I will make you go missing again."
