Emily's pov
After hearing about Ali's deal with "A" I felt like the biggest jerk in the world. I looked at Spencer who looked guilty, then at Hanna who was looking down, and then at Aria who stared at me sadly. "I gotta go talk to her." I mumbled as I attempted to get out of the car but Spencer locked it. "She's drunk are you sure it's the best time?" She asked as I ran my hand through my hair, "She's hurt and it's because of me." I said as they all stared at me. "Em it's not your fault, I mean how were you supposed to know that she made a deal with "A"?" Aria asked as I sighed, "I should've had more faith in her." I said. "We all should've." Hanna said as Spencer sighed, "So what are we gonna do?" She asked as we all looked around at each other. "Maybe we should let Ali sleep on it, and talk to her when she's sober tomorrow." Aria said as Hanna and Spencer nodded, they all looked at me and I shrugged. "I guess we could do that." I said as Spencer nodded, she turned the key to start the car but it didn't turn on. "Uh what's going on?" Aria asked looking at Spencer as Spencer looked at us in panic, "I think the cars out of gas." She said as we all stared at her in disbelief. "You didn't think to put gas before we followed Ali around everywhere?!" Hanna asked staring at her as Spencer rolled her eyes, "Well I'm sorry I wasn't thinking about gas while we went on a wild goose chase." She said as Aria and I rolled our eyes at them. "Okay don't panic, we'll just call Caleb or something." Hanna said as she got her phone out then looked at us in panic. "What is it?" I asked her as she put her phone down, "No signal." Hanna said as we all groaned. "So what now?" Aria asked biting her lip nervously, "Well it looks like this steak out just turned into a camp out." Hanna said jokingly as we all glared at her. "Geez talk about tough crowd." She mumbled as we all rolled our eyes. "But seriously I don't know about you guys but I'm going to sleep." Hanna said as she rested her head on my shoulder. "Same here." Aria said as she moved around in the passenger seat to get comfortable. "Well I guess I have no choice." Spencer said as she leaned her head on the window. I couldn't sleep, all I could think about was Ali. What am I gonna say to her tomorrow? What if she doesn't wanna forgive me? Oh my god what if she hates me?

The next morning
Ali's pov
I woke up in Noel's bed with a massive hang over, I sat up suddenly remembering everything from last night. I stood up carefully and sighed in relief seeing I was the only one in the room. I grabbed my duffle bag and walked into Noel's bathroom, I grabbed my skinny jeans and my maroon sweatshirt and changed. I put my hair in a messy bun and washed my face, "Noel??" I called out walking into his living room and I saw that he was passed out on his couch. I chuckled at my best friend, I looked out the window and saw a car parked outside. It looks like Spencer's?? I put on my shoes and rushed outside, I walked up to the car and saw Emily, Aria, Hanna, and Spencer sleeping inside. I knocked on the window loudly and they all shot up in panic, Spencer rolled down the windows and I stared at them. "What the hell are you guys doing here??" I asked as they all looked at each other, "Have you guys been here all night?" I asked again. "Uh-" Spencer stared but I cut her off, "Did you guys follow me here??" I asked in disbelief. "No!" Emily said quickly as I crossed my arms, "Okay yes." She said looking down cutely. "But we know why you identified Cyrus Ali, we know about the deal." Hanna said as I stared at them in shock. "We heard you last night, talking to Noel." Aria said as I sighed. "So you guys decided to camp out here all night?" I asked as they all looked at each other, "Well Ms. Veronica mars here forgot to check how much gas she had." Emily said as Spencer rolled her eyes. "Well you guys can come in if you'd like, but Noel's passed out on the couch so we can go into his room." I said as they all nodded and got out of Spencer's car. We all walked into the cabin and walked into Noel's room, "I've never been in his room before." Hanna said looking around. "I know Aria has though." Hanna said smirking as Aria rolled her eyes and we all couldn't help but chuckle. "Look Ali we wanna start by saying that we're really sorry-" Spencer started as I cut her off, "Please don't apologize." I said as she snapped her mouth shut. "You guys have nothing to be sorry for, I made the deal with "A". How were you guys supposed to know that?" I asked as they all stared at me, "I don't blame you guys for getting angry at me, I mean I haven't really given you guys a reason to trust me." I admitted as I saw Emily look down. "Yeah but it's like Emily said, we should've had more faith in you." Hanna said as I looked at Emily then at the girls. "Emily said that?" I asked smiling a bit as Aria and Spencer gave each other a look and Hanna smirked. "Yeah I did." Emily said as I smiled lightly at her, "So are we okay?" Spencer asked as I nodded. "Always." I said as Aria stood up, "Group hug!" She said happily as we all hugged each other. "Aww what a site." Noel said as we all pulled away and saw him holding his heart. We rolled our eyes at him and shook our heads. "Hey Noel we need a favor." Spencer started as he stared at her uncertainly, "What is it Hastings?" He asked as she stared at him and bit her bottom lip. "We need a ride back into town." She said as he smiled a bit, "Sure I can give you guys a ride." He said smiling a bit as she thanked him. "Well we all better get going then." Hanna said as Noel grabbed his keys and we all walked to his living room. "Uh I think I'm gonna go with Ali." Emily said as they all smirked at us. "Okay lovebirds be safe." Aria said as Emily and I rolled our eyes, "Text us when you guys get home okay?" Spencer asked as we all hugged and walked out of Noel's lake house. Emily and I got into my dads car and at first there was a silence. "I'm sorry I said all of those things last night." She said as I drove, "Em you don't need to apologize-" I tried to say but she cut me off. "I didn't mean them." She said as I stayed silent, "I was just really angry that you lied again, I just wanted to hurt you like you hurt me. But I didn't mean any of those things, I really do love you." She said as I stared at her for a moment. "You love me?" I asked shocked as she stared at me, "Of course I do." She said as I looked down because I knew she meant it in a friendly way. "Did that night mean something to you?" I asked looking at the road and I felt her staring at me. "You know the night that we did it." I said, "Of course it meant something to me Ali why would you even ask that?" She asked in disbelief as I pulled over to the side. "Because it's been driving me crazy." I said as I stared at her and she stared back at me. "You know while I was on the run sometimes the only thing that got me through the day was you. I kept telling myself that I'd make it all better when I came back, that I'd try and I'd tell you everything. You are the only thing that's ever meant something to me Emily, I've never ever felt this way before." I said as I looked down and chuckled bitterly. "You know it's funny because I think I've been in love with you since eighth grade, and here I am four years later admitting it to you. I actually believe if I would've told you this in eighth grade maybe I would've never left, because you make me wanna be a better person. I still don't know why or how, but you just do." I said looking down as Emily sat there stunned. "I've been waiting four years for you to say those things, what the hell took you so long?" Emily asked as I looked up her and she smiled, "I guess the entire part of me dying put us back a couple years." I joked as she giggled and it made my heart skip a beat. "I've been in love with you since eighth grade too you know that?" She asked as my eyes widened, "R-Really?" I asked as she nodded. "You're all I've ever wanted." She admitted shyly as I stared at her and smiled widely. "I-I'm not sure I know what this means." I said as she looked at me seriously, she got close to me and was now inches away from my face. "Kiss me." She whispered as my breath hitched, I grabbed her face and smashed our lips together. I felt everything we've both bottled up for years in this kiss. We finally pulled away in need of oxygen and we both stared intensely at each other, "Yup totally worth waiting four years." She said breathlessly.
