*3 days later*

Maddy's P.O.V.

"Where are you goinggggg?" Tara whines as I open up the backdoor leading to the garage.

"I have plans," I tell her honestly.

I do. But I already know how mad she would be if she knew I was with Robbie. In the past three days we've gotten close. Really close. It's kinda crazy.

"What plans? Take me with you!" Tara begs.

"How about we go shopping later? But I gotta go right now," I glance at the clock that reads: 10:15am.

"Whatever," Tara groans as I get into my car.

I start it up, and already know I'll be late.

By the time I get to Starbucks, it's 10:35. I walk in, and see Robbie waiting with a drink in his hand in our normal spot.

"You're late," He stands up and walks over to me.

I must admit, the british accent still killed me.

"Sorry," I apoligize, "Tara was asking questions."

"Don't give excuses," Robbie leans in real close.

Someone put a little extra flirt in his coffee.

"Won't happen again," I reply, not moving.

"Good," Robbie smiles, his green eyes glistening.

"You gonna move?"

"I like how this is."

"Of course you do," I roll my eyes and back up.

Then I sit down at the booth, and Robbie sits down next to me.

"You look perfect as always," Robbie smiles at me.

"I know," I laugh and flip my hair.

Today I'm wearing a navy blue sweater, with denim underneith and short shorts.

"So, there's this-" Robbie starts but is interupted by my phone ringing.

"Sorry," I frown then answer my phone.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Is this Maddy Grace Anderson?" The deep voice through the phone asks.

I suddenly get chills.

"Yes."

"Congrats! You've gotten the part as Jesse on What is This Life!"

I can't hold back my squeal, "Thank you so much!"

"Rehersals start the week after Christmas."

"Alright. Thank you once again."

"Our pleasure. Goodbye."

I hang up the phone and grin.

"What was that about?" Robbie asks looking at me.

"I got the part!" I squeal.

"Oh my god! Congrats Maddy," Robbie hugs me.

I take this moment to inhale his sweet smell. I can't quite describe it, but it's the best smell in the world.

Why am I thinking this? I shouldn't be. Not again can I let my guard down. Robbie and I are just friends. That's all we will ever be.

"I can't believe it," I say after he lets go of the tight hug.

"You deserve it," Robbie grins.

I must admit, he is cute. Much more than cute. Tara would slaughter me if I told her I like him the slightest bit.

"I'm sorry, what were you gonna say before my phone rang?" I ask.

"Well, there's this thing tonight. And I wanted to know if you would like to come with me?" Robbie bites his lip.

It's super cute how he still gets a little nervous.

"What kind of thing?" I question.

"See, my friends wanted to go to this club thing. And they all have dates but me and..."

"Oh I see. Robbie Kay wants a date. And he wants me to be his date," I laugh.

"Is that a yes?" Robbie smiles.

"What time?"

"Eight."

"That's a little late, don't you think?"

"Not in my world."

"I suppose I could make it work," I shrug.

"I'll pick you up then," Robbie says.

Will Mom and Dad let me? To be honest, I don't think they care. Tara is another story.

"But Tara-"

"Stop worrying about your sister Mads. She'll understand," Robbie places a hand on my shoulder.

"You're quite charming," I smile.

"You're too kind," Robbie smiles back.

"I wouldn't say that," I shake my head.

"I would," Robbie nods, and we start talking about a different subject.

And we end up laughing.
