Maddy's P.O.V.

I wake up in an unfamiliar room, and I feel Robbie's arms around me.

"Good morning," Robbie smiles at me.

All the embarressing memories from last night come rushing into my head. Tara and I left home. Mom and Dad and eating too much and never good enough.

"Morning," I sigh shutting my eyes again.

"Are you going back to sleep?" Robbie asks, his accent affecting me more than usual.

"I wish I could sleep until I'm 18," I reopen my eyes and look at Robbie.

"Oh come on Mads, you don't mean that," Robbie shakes his head.

"Yeah I do," I nod, sitting up.

"When do you have practice for your movie?" Robbie asks.

"At 3," I groan.

"Well until then you can hang out with me," Robbie smiles.

"Don't I always," I words slip from my mouth harsher than I ment them to be.

Robbie looks really hurt for a second before laughing it off, "I guess you do."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I'm just stressed out. You know I love being with you more than anything," I tell him.

"I know. Now I'm sure Camilla made breakfast for us," Robbie smiles his classic smile.

Robbie and I get out of bed and walk to the kitchen where Camilla and Tara are eating french toast, "I love your family."

"Made you guys some," Camilla smiles at me.

"Thank you," I grin as Robbie hands me a plate, I take a piece of the french toast, and sit down at the table.

I submerge it in maple syrup and eat it quickly. It's much better than I remember it being.

"Looks like someones hungry," Robbie laughs.

"It's really good Camilla," I smile at Robbie's sister.

"Thanks so much Maddy! So I was thinking we could all go to the boardwalk today?" Camilla questions.

"Sounds like fun," I nod.

"Yeah sure," Robbie replies sitting down next to me.

"I have practice at 3 though," I tell Camilla.

"We'll be done by then... hopefully," Camilla laughs.

Just then, Tara's phone starts ringing.

Tara takes it out of her pocket and reads, "Mom and Dad."

I inhale sharply. We just made good plans and now the call and ruin my day.

"Should I answer it?" Tara looks at me.

"If you want to," I shrug.

What do I have to lose?

Tara walks into the other room and answers the phone. She talks for a couple minutes before returning back to us.

"If we don't come home right now, they're calling the authorities," Tara says looking scared.

Exactly how I feel.
