Damn, damn, fucking damn. My life couldn't get any better, could it? I fuck up everything... EVERYTHING. Just as I was getting on Brielle's good side November had to open her big ass mouth up and say something! How did she even find out? Darshay swore this would only stay between me and her and I know that I didn't tell anyone. Can't fucking trust these hoes.

When I woke up, I had five missed texts. I didn't bother reading any of them except for the one from Brielle.

"Hey lani is good you can come get her whenever tomorrow don't text me back bye." -B

Damn. I really fucked up this time. One of my best friends, my day one is mad at me and the girl that I like probably doesn't want anything to do with me.

I pulled up into Brielle's driveway and the only car whose was there was hers. I sighed and pulled myself out of the car going to knock at her door. On the second knock, Brielle answered the door. It look as if she's been crying. Her once glowing eyes were now red and puffy and her hair was all over her head. She still looked beautiful to me of course.

"Hey, I'm here to get Lani." I said, looking down at my feet.

She stared me down before closing the door in my face. I patiently waited, sticking my hands in my pockets. When she opened the door, she had Lani in one hand and a black bag in the other.

"Daddy!" Lani screamed, reaching out for me.

"Hi, baby girl. Were you good for Brielle?" I asked, playing with her pigtails.

She nodded her head yes. "We had popcorn and watch movies!"

"I'm glad to hear that, tell Brielle thank you."

"Thank you, Brielle!" Lani squealed loud enough for the next door neighbors.

"You're so welcome, I'll see you later." She replied. Her voice sound cracky, like she hasn't had anything to drink all day.

"Bri-"

Slam. Once again, she has slammed the door in my face. I just sighed and buckled Lani up in her car seat and started driving.

"Daddy, why did you make Brielle sad?" Lani asked, playing with a stuff animal.

"What do you mean Lani?" I a questioned.

"When I woke up Brielle was cwying. I ask her what's wrong and she say your daddy hurt my feelings a lot." She said.

"She really told you that?"

"Yes and she said you bweak her heart a lot."

"I wish I could make it back up to her but I don't think she likes me anymore."

"That's nwot twue! I think she still like you."

"Why do you think that, baby girl?"

"Bwecause she tell me girls don't cwy over boys that they not in love with."

"She really told you that?"

"Mhm," she nodded her head. "Maybe you should give her some time bwecause she said she could kill you at the moment."

I chuckled. "Don't worry, baby girl. Everything is going to be perfectly fine. Daddy gonna make everything better. Let's just worry about spending time together, okay? Where do you want to go for breakfast?"

"Denny's!"

"Alright, we're on our way there." I replied.

With the information that Lani gave me, I had hope that I could fix things between me and Brielle but at the same time, Lani is just three. The words that were coming out of her mouth could have me lies or it could be the truth, but either way, I'm on a mission to get Brielle. Once and for ALL.
