Xyder Zephyr - POV;

I lay on the ground as a bloody, broken, battered and beaten mess. I looked on helplessly as Sorine dashed to the top of the nearby rock and prepared her Persona to finish me off. I knew that there was no way I would survive this. The faint voice in my head continued to call out as it had been for the entire fight. 'Take me! I will help you!', it kept chanting but I had been able to ignore it thus far because of the adrenaline built up by this fight.

"Xyder!" I heard a voice call out and immediately I realised that it was Dagan.

"Xyder! Don't you dare die in this battle! If you die, then Evelynn will be next! They are aiming to kill out your entire bloodline god damn it so don't you dare die you hear?!" Dagan bellowed.

I felt a sharp pain pulsate throughout my body as I heard his words and the whispering in my head slowly grew into a deep growl.

"Accept me Xyder! We are one! Alone you can do nothing but together we can save Evie.... AND KILL SORINE!"

Dagan Zephyr - POV;

At that moment, Sorine let her blast loose and the lightning consumed Xyder's body.

"Noooooooooooooo!" I shouted realising that I was too late once again and that history had just repeated itself.

The crowd went silent as the smoke and lightning began to clear. I dropped to my knees feeling like a complete failure for I was incapable of such a simple task.

Suddenly a maniacal laugh erupted from the field. I raised my dropped head and glared wide eyed at the field. At the spot where Xyder had been laying, a man now stood. He grabbed his left shoulder and popped it back into place and his left arm which had bee broken, twisted and bent in all directions, untwisted itself quickly and regained a fixed form.

He passed his fingers through his jet-black, spiky hair playfully. His mischievous yellow eyes glared at a confused Sorine while a huge grin stretched from ear to ear across his defined face.

He zoomed forward as fast as Sorine herself and with a roundhouse kick, he launched her across the field where she crashed against the wall. He rushed in behind her and performed a flying kick into her stomach which caused her to sink deep into the concrete. A crack formed which spread across the entirety of the wall surroumding the entire field. Sorine coughed up blood but instead of showing mercy, the male swung her over his body and slammmed her down on the hard earth.

It was only then that I took a good look at the person's face and it struck me. This fighter was no newcomer.... despite obvious differences they both had the very same face....... It was Xyder!

Sorine zipped away and shakibly got to her feet. She could barely stand and was quite unstable but she managed to draw out her Persona once more.

"This again?" Xyder snickered, "Du-Ragnarök!" He outstretched his both arms on either side of himself and slowly two swords began to form within his palms. On his left a Golden Blade blade formed. Its design was intricate and embossed at various points along its handle and edge. The sword emitted the distinct, bright element of Light. On his right an Onyx Blade formed. Its design was simpler than its brother's but it was interesting nonetheless. This sword emitted a choking dark mist from its form. Shadow maybe? No... this was far different. This weapon seemed to emit pure Darkness.

Sorine shot another blast right at Xyder but he didn't even seem to be shaken in the slightest. He clashed his blades together infront of his body and two swirling streams of light and darkness shot forth. They meshed together forming a huge blast which collided head on with Sorine's attack. The lightning couldn't hold a second against Xyder's move and it was quickly dispersed by it. Sorine barely escaped Xyder's blast by zipping into the air. She remained airborne by zooming around with her lightning all while throwing her electrical projectiles down at the boy. Xyder ran around the battle field avoiding each and every bolt with ease.
