Lia's POV
We got to the school and it really hit me that we were leaving. I've only been here for a year but it feels like I've been here a lifetime.

We sat in our our seats and we were so excited. They've really converted the gym to make it look amazing.
"Welcome to the graduation of class 2017. Now all of us know how hard you all have worked to be sitting on these chairs today. 10 years of hard work and now on your way further your education to be what you want to be. So I am proud to introduce our headteacher Mr Williams." Coach introduced our head teacher and we all clap.

"Class of 2017. A proud moment for a headteacher when he can say that this entire year graduated. No drop outs, no retries and one extra graduate that deserves a special mention. Hudson Perry. Held back for 2 years and graduated this year with all 4 As and 1 B. How about a round of applause for him." We all cheer and he stands up and cheers.

"I'm very impressed for everyone here and we have so many special children- sorry young adults working their asses off to be who they will grow up to be need to be. So to start off this emotional day. Congratulations class 2017." Everyone claps and I rest my head on Rocco.

Slowly name by name they called us up to collect our certificates.
"Azalea Anderson! Graduating to Boston university!" I picked up my diploma and shook his hand before standing next to saffron.

Next came Liam then Rocco and the rest of the hockey team.
"Now. There are two students here who met each other here and one of them had some unfortunate events that he ended up in custody of his little sister. I know and coach definitely knows how hard he worked to be standing on this stage and they have been through so much together that this year asked if they could have a special mention and I definitely think they deserve it. so I'm very happy to say. Sami Anderson! Graduated nursery and Lia and Rocco two hard working people and made it work." Mr Williams says and I saw Sami run on in a little white cap and gown.

She looked so cute. I ran up and picked her up and hugged her.
"Say something." Coach tells us and I give Sami to Rocco and to be honest we were both in tears.

"Wow I don't know what to say. Thank you." Then sir gave us flowers and that got us both. I hugged Rocco crying when I got the flowers.

"Thanks guys. That's all we can say." Rocco says as I hold Sami as she wipes my face.
"You guys deserve it." Coach tells us letting us walk back as we hug our friends.

I can't believe we got a special mention and that everyone asked for it to happen.
"Parents, carers, guardians. The class of 2017." We cheer and cry.

High school is finally over. But the next chapter of our lives will just begin.
We threw our hats in the air and cheered and I kissed Rocco.
"We did it. We made it through school." I say hugging him excitedly.

"I know." He says. Then something clicked in my head.
"Where's Sami?" I ask and we started looking for her and she's on the edge of the stage.

"Sami!" I shout grabbing her before both of us fall of the stage.
Rocco jumped off and came to see if I was ok and so many people seemingly as we were in front of lots of people.

"You two ok?" Rocco asked and I nodded as Sami cried from the shock.
"Yeah. She didn't hit herself on the way down." I say giving her to someone.

"Lia are you ok? That was quite a fall." Mr Williams asks.
"I'll be ok." I say just resting on the floor.

Rocco helped me up and took my heels off.
"The key to medical. Get an ice pack for her back." Coach says and Rocco helps me to medical.

"Some eventful graduation." I say taking the gown off and Rocco putting an ice pack on my back. I hissed at the coldness.

"Babe, this is only the start. I have a feeling Sami doesn't feel like she should be on her best behaviour." Rocco says.
"Then we deal with it then and there. Today is meant to be our day." I say sounding a bit childish like it's his fault.

"I know. It is even if she misbehaves we could give her to your mum." I nod.
"I love you."
"I love you to Azalea Collias." He smiles and I laugh.

"I'm not married to you yet. Calm your tits." I tell him and he laughs too.
"Come on let's get back to the professional after party." He says and I kiss him before putting the ice pack away and taking his hand, walking back to the party.

We went to find my parents and my mum gave me a massive hug checking me over. Although I kept saying I was fine.

"Rocco I'm going to get us a drink." He nods talking to my dad.
All of a sudden Liam came running to me in a flustered.

"Lia, Rocco's dad is here. I had Sami and he asked if he could dance with his daughter and I didn't have any right to stop him." Oh my god.
"Where are they?" He pointed to the dance floor.

I nodded and walked over to them.
"Sami. What have I told you about talking to strangers?" I say scooping her up and walking away.

"I'm sorry. I'm not a stranger. I'm her dad." He tapped me on the shoulder.
"But you seem to be a stranger to me. So who might you be?" He asked me trying to take Sami from me.

"Lia he isn't dangerous. He hasn't had a special drink." Sami tells me.
"Ok Sami. As for your question you should talk to your son about that." I tell him before walking away.
