Malia's POV:
I ran through the woods, ignoring the stick poking at my legs. I ducked under a branch and jumped over roots and rocks, making sure I didn't trip over or hit my head. I pushed a tree out of my way and heard something behind me.

I normal would just keep running, but I knew that sound far to well. Someone or something was following me and I could already tell it was bad. I wanted to turn around and see who it was, but I already knew who it was. She never left me and whenever I was alone, she would strike.

She was like my shadow. Always there with me, but not always visible. And even when you know she's far gone, you still know she's with you.

"You know I'm here, don't you?" She whispered, somehow knowing that I was listening. "Are you still angry at me? For killing, what's his name?"

"Stiles." I said through gritted teeth. "After you killed, Stiles."

I didn't turn around, because I had to keep going straight ahead. I couldn't let her stop me, only because we need to find out how to kill her. Theo knows the answer, but he's not telling us and luckily, I know how to make someone talk.

"He was so fun to kill. Just the way he tried to fight it and outsmart me. I actually found it quiet cute." She laughed, walking closer to me.

I didn't even bother turning around, I just kept running towards Scott's house. I needed to get there now and make sure she didn't follow me. She was getting closer, so I decided to turn right. Even though I needed to go straight the whole way, the only way I could get rid of her was to lose her.

The woods looked different now and I had no clue where to go. The one thing about trying to lose my Mom in the woods is, I also get lost. I still don't know my way around here and I get lost easily. I looked at the moon and saw it was shinning straight down, right in front of me. The full moon was in five days, but I could still feel the power it had on me.

I quickly turned left, hoping she would continue to run straight. I listened out for her and I couldn't hear her running anymore. Instead, I heard voices. I recognised them all, and I knew what was happening. Theo finally broke and they know how to kill her.

"This is going to be fun. Once I've finished killing you all, I can then go and kill that useless boy, who can't manage to keep his mouth shut." I heard her voice and it sent shivers through my body.

"Not if I kill you first." My eyes widened once I heard his voice and I didn't know what to believe. Theo was on our side.

I could hear Scott roar and even though they're all strong, I knew they still needed my help. I turned around, running from where I just came from. I could hear the fight, so I started running faster. For once, I wanted to be the person who helped everyone. I wanted to be the one who ran in there, helping out everyone else.

I'm sick of being the person who needs to be helped. The one who relies on all of her friends and when they're not there, she has no one. I want to be the strong, independent, reliable one.

"Scott, watched out!" I heard someone yell through all the growls and gun fire.

I lifted up my head and saw Kira jump in front of Scott and fall to the ground, holding her waist as she dragged herself along the ground. I could tell by her facial expressions, that she was in pain. And I could also tell, because I could smell her blood from here.

"Kira!" Scott yelled, turning around and watching as she dragged herself to lean against a rock.

"Scott, I'm over here!" I yelled, running over to him and Kira.

"What are you doing here? You're meant to be at my place, he's meeting you there." Scott yelled at me, helping Kira sit up.

I turned around, just in time, catching my mother's arm, before it hit Scott. I quickly transformed into a were-coyote and roared, making sure she knew I wasn't scared. I lifted back my leg, trying to get as mush force as I could. I went to go and kick her, but then something happened. Something that's happened before, but never like this.

When I grabbed my Mom's hand, it triggered my memory. When I lost all my memory, I also lost the memory of my Mom. I can see her standing on the road, shooting her gun at my direction. I was in a car with my family, on our way home.

"It was your fault!" I yelled, remembering that it was her fault my families dead. "You shot the gun at us and you killed my family!"

My head got a sudden rush of pain and I looked up, seeing that she held the gun in her hand. I shook my head, ignoring the pain and continuing to fight. I dug my fingers into her stomach and slashed her as fast as I could. Once she let go of my arm and held her stomach, getting slight of focus, I scratched her again.

"Malia! You need to go and meet him!" I heard Scott yell, but I couldn't leave them. "We have this under control."

Even though I had to listen to him, I still ignored him. I wasn't going to be the one running away. She was.

I aimed for her face, but slightly missed. Instead, I hit her in the chest. She stumbled back and came running back up to me, digging her nails into my arm and slowly, dragging them down. With her other spare hand, she hit me across the head with her gun, sending me to the ground. I put both hands on the ground and started lifting myself back up, until I felt a sharp pain in my ribs.

I looked up and watched as she placed her foot back on the ground, walking over to me. I tried to get back up, but I had no energy left in me.

"I thought this would of been much more fun. It was a bit a challenge, but still too easy." She laughed, lifting the gun to my head and smiling. "I can't kill you yet, but I can still cause you unbelievable pain, so here." She laughed and pulled the trigger.

I was waiting for the pain, but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and saw Theo standing next to her. He held her arm, bending it backwards and making her drop the gun.

"Go!" He yelled, kicking her in the back of the knees. "Malia, we'll be fine."

I turned around and saw Liam, Derek and Lydia all on a hill, making there way down here. I smiled and stood up, running in the direction of Scott's house.

After all these attempts of killing the Desert wolf. I have a strong feeling that tonight, will be the night this all ends.
