Chapter 54

-Chapter 54-

-Tris P.O.V-

   I jump off of Tobias, throw on my shirt and rush out the door. I see Christina crying and rush up to her,

"Chris, oh my gosh! What happened? Is Grayson alright?!" I ask, panicking, she shakes her head and chokes out,

"I put grayson in his crib and when I came back he wasn't breathing. He's in the hospital now." she chokes out, I nod and she gestures for me to follow her to the hospital, I do.

When we get there a doctor comes up to us,

"Christina, your baby is fine. All that happened is that he got scared. And had a small stroke. Its not bad, nothing major."

We nod and hug, joyed with relief.

When we get into graysons room he is sleeping, his tiny chest moving up and down. I sigh in releif and close my eyes for a second. Then Christina smiles and rushes over to her son.

When Will walks in I greet him with a small hug. He smiles at me then makes his way over to his wife and son. I smile, at the picture perfect memory.

I slowly back out of the room and back to our apartment, I walk in to see Tobias asleep laying on the couch with Carter on his chest.

I grab a black blanket with gray stripes and drape it over my sleeping angels. I kiss both of there foreheads and walk into the kitchen.

I put my headphones in and play my playlist, I turn the hot water on and clean the dishes, put them away, sweep and mop my kitchen, and take the trash out. By the time I get back its 5:00.

I decide to start dinner.I make hamburgers for me and Tobias and some carrot puré for Carter. I wake them up and we sit at the dinning room table again, as a family.

After I finish my hamburger I give Carter a bite of the carrot baby food. She immediately makes a disgusted face before spitting the carrot back out and getting it all over her chin and clothes. I sigh and get a napkin to wipe it off but when I get back Tobias is feeding her tiny bites of his hamburger. I smile and join them again at the table.

Later on I decide to give Carter a bath, its just me and Carter. I set her in the of warm water and begin putting bubbles and rubber ducks into the water. She smiles as she watches the bubbles grow in the tub. She puts some bubbles in her tiny hands and smashes them on her face, each time she does this she says,

"Bapshq!"

I laugh at her, but she laughs to, then she gets a rubber duck and throws it out of the tub. I gasp and pick it up,

"No no Carter! That's no okay!" I say dissaprovingly. I set the duck back in the water and she starts crying again, I instantly feel guilty, I get a towel and take Carter out. I rock her in my arms but she won't stop crying.

"Tobias! Come here please!"I cry out, I start crying to, I'm a terrible mother.Moms are supposed to be the ones to help there babies.

He rushes in and takes Carter out of my arms and makes her stop crying.He comes down on his knees next to me, Carter still in his arms,

"What's wrong baby?" he asks putting a hand on my back.

"I'm A-a  terrible mother!"I sob out, I put my head in my hands and hear Tobias talking to Carter. He says,

"Carter. You made mommy cry. That's not very nice. You need to apologize." he says getting infront of me and handing me Carter. She looks up at me and says,

"Mamma!"
