Two Weeks Later
T R I S
As soon as Tobias walks through the door from work i rush over to him,
"I missed you!" i say, kissing his cheek.
"Missed you to boo." he says, i give him a funny look.
"Boo?"
"Yeah... No?"
"No."
"Kay." he says, smiling.
"Hey babe, can you go check on Carter? I need to check dinner."
"Sure thing."
But what he doesnt know is that Carter is wearing a suprise for him, your probably like,
'Wearing a supries? What the hell?'
But just wait.....
T O B I A S
"Sure thing." i answer, putting my coat on the coat rack. I walk into Carters room and lift her up, when i notice shes wearing a shirt that says,
'Hey Daddy! Guess What!
:)
Im a Big Sister now!'
Immediatley theres a smile on my face, i set Carter in her plack n' play and run into the kitchen.
"SERIOUSLY???" i yell out of Joy and Happiness. Tris turns around and smiles big and wide, nodding. I pick her up and spin her around.
"How far along?" i ask, setting her down.
"1 week. We got a while to go."
Please be a boy. Please be a boy.
I plead in my head. Tris turns back to cooking and i play with Carter.
"i Hungee!" She yells, playing with a stuffed giraffe. I laugh,
"Mommas almost done with dinner, little bug." i say,
"Mommy?!?!" she asks, a smile on her face. I nod and she starts squirming. Then i realise shes trying to stand,
"TRIS! COME HERE HURRY!" I yell. Tris comes running out of the kitchen waving a skillet around,
"Who needs to be killed??!?" She shouts.
I laugh. "No one. Look Carters trying to stand up!" i say Tris inhales and sets the pan down. She walks over to me and we watch Carter intensley. Then with one more try she starts walking.
"Oh my gosh!!" Tris says. I nod. Proud of my little girl.
She is growning up to fast.
