"just wear this." i hand mandy some ripped boyfriend jeans and a white hoodie with her white converse. "are you sure this is a good idea?" she asks.
i talked her into coming with me to hang out with the twins, hayes and tyler since wes couldn't come. "you'll be fine. just put it on." she starts to change as my phone buzzes on my side.
wes 💗: have fun baby. i wish i could go. if brett tries anything, i'm beating his face

me: lol, ill facetime you later ok ?
wes 💗: yeah, but seriously, i will beat his face if he tries anything. i've got eyes even if i'm not there
i laugh leaving it at that. "is that wes?" mandy asks, putting socks on. "how'd you know?" i ask. "you get this face like 'i'm so lucky.'" she says.
"it's the best thing ever. hopefully you'll feel it very soon." i smirk. "funny. do you wanna take an uber there or have my dad drop us off?" she asks.
"it doesn't really matter." i shrug. "ok, i'll be back." she walks out of her room, which is very pretty. sort of looked like my room, except darker colors.

she came back saying, "my dad said he can't take us. so my brother is." it seemed like she wasn't cool about the idea and for that i chuckled.
