Karma pov
I got bored down in Hell so I decided to go walk through Purgatory's forest.

As I was walking my eyes caught sight of the most beautiful Angel.

I quickly hid behind a tree and poked my head out.

She had fair skin, big clear blue eyes, and long silky hair
She had her feet in the lake while she brushed through her hair with her fingers.

I took a step back but stepped on a stick catching her attention
"Who's there?"
I remained where I was
'Should I come out?'
'But what if I scare her?'

After a while of debating I decided to step aside from the tree and show her who I was
"You're..."
"....A demon" I completed
"...."

'Of course she's scared' I thought

To my surprise she smiled and walked up to me
"What's your name?"
"???"
I was taken aback

She wasn't scarred of Me?
What kind of angel is she?
All angels avoid us demons
This is new

"...Karma" I answered
"I'm Nagisa. Nice to meet you!"
"Yeah"
My cheeks began to heat up when she shook my hand

Nagisa pov
For the last couple of months I've been going to Purgatory's forest almost everyday to spend time with Karma

We were currently sitting on the grass looking at the lake

"Hey" Karma spoke out
"Yes?" I looked up at him
"How do you feel about us?"
"Eh? Where did that come from?"
"I'm serious!" He yelled out
"....Karma?"
"I can't take it anymore!" He stood up and walked up to the lake
"Take what?!"
I stood up as well
"I need to know how you feel about me!"
"How I feel about you?"
"Cause I love you!" He turned around and looked at me
"...."
I was in shock

I shocked soon faded and I smiled and walked up to him, cupping his face
"I love you too" I confessed
"..."
He seemed shocked at first but he smiled and hugged Me
"Thank goodness! I thought you'd get mad and never want to see me again!"
"No, I would never say that"
He put me down and brought his lips to mine
"We'll keep this a secret" I told me
"Yeah"

We decided to keep our relationship a secret because a bond between an Angel and a Demon is a taboo

One day I was sitting in our regular spot waiting for Karma when I heard the bushes rustle
I turned around
"Karma? Is that you?"
"..."
"Karma?" I stood up and walked closer, but the person who came out wasn't Karma, it was
"A-Asano?!"
"So it is true, your dating a Demon"
"..."
I remained silent

Asano walked closer to me
"As a fellow Angel I'm sure your aware that this is a taboo, with a punishment worse than death."
"..."
"Us Angels must never be tainted by evil. But you...having a relationship with a Demon! You have broken the law! You will now go on trial before the Queen!"
"Please don't...."

All of a sudden more Angels came out from the bushes and took me away
"No!! Asano Please!!" I pleaded as I was being taken back to heaven

3rd person pov
Asano picked up a feather that fell out of Nagisa's wings and kissed it
"If I can't have you, neither can he"

Karma went to Purgatory the next day since Nagisa wasn't there yesterday

He was bored of waiting so he began throwing pebles into the lake

Karma pov
'Where is she?'

Just then I heard footsteps from behind me
"Nagisa!"
Sadly it wasn't her, it was another Angel with orange hair
"Who are you? Where is Nagisa?"
"So you're Karma"
"How do you know me?"
He began walking towards Me
"Did you know purity is everything for an Angel?"
"..."
"If our innocence were to ever get tainted, there will of course be a punishment"
"Where are you getting at?" I glared at him
"That includes having a relationship with a Demon"
My eyes widened

Did he know about us?!

"Where's Nagisa!?"
"She faced trial and has been kicked out of heaven"
"!!!"
"Where is she now!!?"
"She's been sentenced to live in the human world for eternity. She will be forever alone. No one will ever be able to see her"

I managed to make my way to the human world and I tried finding her.

I spent who knows how long looking for her until I heard distant sobbing
"Nagisa!"

I followed the cries and entered a forest.

Just then my eyes caught sight of Nagisa who was hunched over a log
"Nagisa..."
I began walking slowly towards her

As I came closer I was shocked at what I saw

Her wings were gone!
What replaced them was a bloody back and the two stumps from her wings

'Did they cut her wings off!?'

I then saw her wrists and feet and saw cuts and bruises

"Nagisa..."
"What am I supposed to do here? No one can see me"
"You have me"
She looked up with her puffy eyes

Even when crying she still looks beautiful
"Karma, you don't have to suffer as well just to stay with me"
"Then come with me"
"Eh?"
"Come with me to hell. I'm sure they'll welcome you"
"But...my wings" she turned around
I keeled down in front of her
"Then I'll be your wings"
"..."
She smiled
"Thank you Karma"
