Nagisa was looking out the classroom window and was lightly giggling while tapping the window.
Everyone just gave him weird looks.
It wasn't the first time he acted like that, he always did.
There would be times when it seemed like he was running away from something.

There would even times he would talk to trees, flowers, and walls.

Nagisa normally came to school with new bruises and scratch marks.
Everyone assumed he only wanted attention, so they choose to ignore him.

Thankfully he had one friend who always stuck by him, Karma

"Do you have any clue on where you could have left it?" Nagisa asked looking at his palm that was lifted up to his face

Karma was in the distance and saw his friend
"Hey Nagisa"
Nagisa looked up
"Karma!"
Karma looked down at Nagisa
"Is it another yokai?"
"Yeah"
"What's it look like?" He asked
"It's cute. It's a little furball"
Karma chuckled
"Did it loose something?"
"Yeah, a blue stone"
"That might be a little hard to find with just you looking for it. I'll help"
Nagisa stood up
"Really!? Thank you!"
Karma smiled back with a light blush appearing on his cheeks

The two spent the whole school day trying to find the stone until
"I found it" Karma said showing Nagisa a clear blue stone
"Thank you Karma!" Nagisa smiled, taking the stone and bending down to give it to the little yokai.
Karma watched as the stone disappeared from Nagisa's fingers

The two began walking the dark streets when Nagisa went towards the park
"Do you not want to go home?"  Karma asked
"No"
"...."
It was silent
"Nagisa...why don't you move in with me"
Nagisa chuckled
"How mature of you Karma, already inviting me to live with you and we're only 10"
"S-shut up" he blushed

Karma sat down next to Nagisa on the swings and sat in silence

"Nagisa...."
"What?"
"Do ever wish you couldn't see yokai?"
"What's with the sudden question?"
"Don't try to dodge the question"
Nagisa sighed
"...Yeah...but becasue of them I have a friend I know I can trust"
"Eh?"
"I'm not that dumb Karma. I know what the other kids say about me"
"...."
"Like how all this is an act for attention... How I self harm...how I come from a poor family"
"Don't listen to them! They don't know what they're talking about!" Karma yelled
Nagisa smiled
"I know. That's why I'm glad I met you"
"Me too"

Karma was walking around the neighborhood, planning on visiting Nagisa who he had not seen in a while

He stood infornt of a huge white house when he saw a bunch of luggage.
"???"
He took a step forward when the door opened, revealing Nagisa rolling a suitcase
"Nagisa?"
Nagisa looked up
"Karma?"
"What are you doing?"
"I I'm moving out"
"What!? Where!? Why!?"
"....Mom kicked me out, she said she didn't want a freak as her son" Nagisa tried smiling

Karma's eyes widened and without any hesitation he ran to Nagisa and hugged him
"You're not a freak! You have an ability! A special one! So...never feel guilty about it or yourself"
Nagisa smiled with some tears in his eyes
"Thank you, Karma"
