Crossdresser Nagisa

"Karma!"
I turned around and saw my best friend running up to me.
The wind passing through his long hair.
His skirt bouncing up and down with every step he took
His bright smile

He caught up to me and hugged me
I smiled with a light blush on my cheeks
"Hey Nagisa"
He looked up and smiled back
"Mom took me shopping and got me new ribbons. Do you like them?" He said while lifting two pieces of his hair that had the ribbons
"Yeah, they look good on you"
His smile got even bigger
"Thank you!"
I smiled and held out my hand
"I was just going to take a walk. Want to come?"
"Yeah"
He took my hand and we began walking together

Everyone at school always pick on Nagisa because he crossdresses.
I don't blame them for finding it weird.
I mean it's unheard of a man posing as a girl.

But if they ever make a move to hurt Nagisa, I definitely won't let it pass.

Nagisa told me his mother always wanted a girl, but when she found out he was a boy she had him dress as the girl she always wanted.

He grew accustomed to dressing feminine like because he said he felt safe and loved by his mother.

Of course Nagisa knows the consequences of him crossdresssing, that's why he relies on me
I don't mind though, I decided I will protect him...make sure no one ever harms him

I love him
No matter what
Even if people find him strange
I will always support him

"Look Karma! Isn't that skirt cute?"
I turned around, looking through the store window and saw a dark red skirt
"You want it?"
"Mmm" he nodded his head
"Come on" I began walking inside the store, with his hand in with mine
"Eh? Karma?"
I looked at him
"I'll buy it"
"Y-you don't have to do that! I'll buy it"
"Nope, I'll buy it"

I got it off the hanger and turned to look at Nagisa
"Pick a top"
"Eh?"
"You're better at matching clothes together"

He looked around nervously and began shuffling through all the clothes until he found a top he liked

Once we finished shopping I walked Nagisa to his house

"I'll see you tomorrow at school" I told him
"Yeah, see you tomorrow"
I was about to walk off when
"Karma!"
I turned around
"Thanks"
"..."
I smiled
"Yeah"

The next day during Lunch I was under the tree waiting for Nagisa to come back with his lunch when Terasaka's group came up to me
I smirked
"What brings the mighty Terasaka and his minions to this part of the woods" I teased
"I'm not here to play games with you"
"Oh. Then how may I help you?"
"To warn you"
I glared at him
He sighed
"You better get Nagisa to stop dressing in those ridiculous clothes"
"Why should I? What right do you or anyone else have to force Nagisa into something he doesn't like?"
"Cause that girly boy is making us look like trash!" He yelled
My eyes widened and I grabbed him by his collar, pushing him against the tree
"What did you just say?"
"I said that girly boy is making us-!"
I pulled harder on his collar, making him unable to breath
"Don't ever call Nagisa that" I threatened him
"We're just saying. You have no idea what others might do to him" Sugaya said
"You don't have to worry, I'll be by his side to protect him"
I let Terasaka go and was about to walk away when

"I understand that you feel comfortable with him and are friends with him, but not everyone thinks so" Itona said
I froze at his words
"Everyone? Does he need to make everyone like him?" I asked, not bothering to turn around
"I guess not. But don't get mad at me if I find it hilarious" he said and the group walked away

"Hey Nagisa, ready to go?" I asked as he was gathering his belongings
"You go ahead. I have to stay for a while" he smiled at me from his seat
"Stay? For what?"
"The principle wants to talk to me. He's probably going to ask why I'm still not wearing the school uniform. It might take a while. I'll see you tomorrow, ok?"
"...ok"
He stood up and dusted his skirt before waving and walking off

I began heading home, thinking about what Terasaka said

'I'll protect Nagisa....I'll love him no matter what'

'He doesn't have to worry about others liking him...he doesn't need others to like him. He can't make everyone happy'

The next day I was in class with my head down.

I was soo bored
Nagisa still wasn't here

I smiled thinking about how Nagisa would come in with a bright smile
He would then ask me what he should wear the next day, even though he would get in trouble for not wearing the school uniform

All of a sudden the classroom door opened revealing Nagisa
"!!"
My eyes widened when I saw him

His hair was cut short and he had the male student uniform on
"N-Nagisa?"
He looked at me and it was then that I noticed he had a bruise on his cheek
I stood up from my seat and dragged Nagisa out of the classroom
I didn't care if it caused commotion in the class, I needed to know what happened to Nagisa and who hurt him.
It couldn't have been the principle

I took him and we both sat under the tree where we normally eat our lunch
"What happened Nagisa?" I asked touching his face
He looked away
"N-nothing, I just...I realized how stupid I've been"
"Huh? How have you been stupid?"
"Dressing as something I'm not"
"...what Really happened?"
"N-Nothing!"
I glared at him
"I know you Nagisa! I know when you're lying to me!"
"...."
I sighed and grabbed his hands
"Just tell me Nagisa. It's me...I won't judge you"

Nagisa looked me in the eye
"Asano tricked me"
"Eh?"
"I thought the principle wanted to talk to me, but it was Asano..."
"What'd he do?" I asked, letting my anger out bit by bit
"I was surrounded by the whole A-class...I was too weak to do anything..."
"!!!"
I pinned Nagisa down
"K-Karma!?"
I then began unbuttoning his vest and blouse
"What are you doing!?" He asked in a panic
"What'd they do to you!?"
I removed his blouse and I was shocked

He was covered in bruises
I looked at Nagisa
He looked away with tears in his eyes

The only thing I could do was hug him
"Ignore them! Forget what anyone ever says about you! They don't know what they're saying!"
"..."
Nagisa only hugged me back

Once Nagisa calmed down we went shopping for new clothes and a wig that matched his hair color

"I'll protect you Nagisa. So don't worry"
"I know"
"Never stop being yourself...that's what I love about you"
