Beep Beep Beep Beep
"Urgh" I groaned and turned over to turn the alarm off with my hand stretched out and my face in the pillow.
"...."
Once it was off I rolled over to place my arm on Karma
"Huh?" My hand only felt the bed and that was enough to completely wake me up
"!?"
I sat up and looked around the room
"Karma?"
"...."
After hearing no response I rolled out of bed and it wasn't until I was standing that I noticed I was completely naked.
"!?!?"
I thought back to last night and was reminded of what we both did when we got home.
"That bastard" I mumbled and wrapped my body in one of his shirts

As I was looking around I saw a few rose petals leading downstairs
"???"
'Karma is up to something'
I began following them and as I was half way down I smelled a strong smell of something burning.
I smiled knowing Karma was struggling in the kitchen.
After following the flower petals all the way down to the kitchen I saw Karma panicking over the burnt food, his bare back faced towards me
".....Karma?" I spoke out
He turned around surprised after hearing my voice
"N-Nagisa!? I thought you were still asleep!"
"The alarm woke me up, plus you weren't by my side"
"Sorry, I was busy"
I tilted my head to take a peek at the mess he made in the kitchen
"You were busy destroying the kitchen?"
"I wanted to surprise you with a romantic breakfast" he said looking away embarrassed
"Romantic? Was last night not enough for you?"
"No, I mean yes, I mean...I just wanted to surprise you"
"Suprise me? Why?"
Karma's eyes widened after I asked
"Don't tell me you forgot!?"
"Forgot? Forgot what?"
"It's your birthday!"
"!!!"
My birthday!?

That's right today's July 20th!
How could I have forgotten my own birthday?!
I guess I've been soo busy with work that it completely slipped my mind

"Nagisa?" He called out
I looked up at him after he brought me out of my thoughts
"Sorry for ruining your birthday" he said sadly
"...."
Knowing that he was doing such a sappy but romantic gesture for me brought a smile to my face
"Thank you Karma" I said walking up to him, putting my hands on his bare muscular chest and lightly kissing his cheek
I seemed to have caught him off guard for a second, but he quickly smiled in return and kissed my lips.
"Thank you for being born"
I chuckled after what he said
"Just leave the cooking to me" I stated
"But that was going to be my gift to you"
I sighed in response
"Let's forget about breakfast for now and go back in bed"
"...."
"I assume you know what I want"
Karma smirked after catching on to what I meant
"Anything for you love~" he said before picking me up and going to the room
