Karma pov
I got off the ship and turned to look at the sailor who told me his name was Asano.
"I guess I should thank you. If you hadn't found me I'd still be lost in the ocean"
He smirked
"You could make it up to me"
I turned around and stared at the sight before my eyes
The sight of this place disgusted me

London
It was soo dark and gloomy

"You ok?" He asked
"No....these streets are haunted..."
"Haunted?"
I turn to look at him
"Have you ever heard the story about the barber and his wife?" I asked him
"No"
"There was once a barber who was married to the most kind and beautiful women...The two had everything they needed, but their daughter was the most precious thing they could ever ask for. One day the town's judge saw his wife and fell in love with her...."
"What happened then?"
"He had the barber removed under a false crime"
"And the wife?"
I looked down
"That was years ago. I doubt anyone remembers"
"..."
"..."
The silence was uncomfortable
"I should go. Thanks again" I told him before walking into the dark streets

Timeskip
I managed to find where I used to live and work, only to see it belonged to someone else.

I entered the building
"Welcome!" A girl with braids and glasses yelled out
I walked up to her
"Does Akabane Nagisa still live upstairs?"
Her eyes widened and she dropped the pan she was holding
"..."
I stared at her in confusion
"Akabane Karma? You're back?!"
I covered her mouth
"Ssh. Just answer the question"
She looked down and stepped back
"Follow me"
She began walking up to the second floor and I followed

We made it to 2nd floor
"Have a seat"
I sat down on the couch and looked around

My home....our home
It was soo dusty.
No one has lived here in over 5 years...
Did Nagisa move?
Did she forget about me?

"You know I've been trying to rent this floor, but No one has taken it"
"....why?"
"....after You were taken. The judge was trying everything to get Nagisa to fall in love with him, but she remained loyal to you and told herself that you'd come back"

"One day he called her and told her he'd help her get you put of prison because he felt awful for his mistake....that night she agreed to go to his house, but when she went he was having a party. She drank and drank while she waited for him, but when he finally came she was soo drunk....he took that opportunity and raped her"
"WHAT!" I yelled out and threw the table that was infront of me
That bastard!!
"...."

I took a few deep breaths and looked at her
"Would anyone have mercy on her?" I asked, scared to hear what the answer would be
"....No, they only laughed"
"...."
"...."
"Where's Nagisa.....where's my wife?"
She looked down
"Poisoned herself, I tried to stop her....but she wouldn't listen to me "
"...."

'Nagisa's dead....'

"He took your daughter"
I looked up with anger in my face
"He? That son of a bitch Judge Yuuji"
"He adopted her, raised her like his own"

I removed my coat and tossed it on the couch
"10 years, sweating and living in hell under false crime...10 years dreaming I'd come home to my wife and child"
"Listen I'm sorry you had to go through all tha-"
"Damn right!"
I looked her in the eyes
"I will have my revenge"
