Chapter 28; Colby and Paisley's Point

"Paisley," I heard someone whisper in my ear and I moved around slightly in my bed. I was half awake still and someone wants me? Who dares disturb my sleep? "Paisley, hey," I felt someone shake me and I turned around dramatically slowly, eventually, I saw a dark figure standing over me. I squint my eyes, making out Colby.

"Yes, Cole?" I murmur quietly. I glanced over to the clock, it was 12.00ish. In the morning. "What do could you possibly want at 12.00 in the morning?"

"I want you to come out, adventuring with me," Colby whispers. "Well, I want to show you a place that's special to me. I think you'd love it."

"I really hope so, Brock, because its 12.00 in the morning." I say, slowly getting up and letting a small moan of protest from my lips. I rub my face tiredly. "Let me get changed, please."

"Of course," Colby then walked out of my room and closed the door behind me. I fall back into my pillow, where the hell is Colby taking me?

-

"This morning is really taking a turn." I pant, walking up the hill that Colby had driven us too. "Like, when you said I wanted to show something I'd really love, I thought you meant McDonald's or something like that. Not climb up a freakin' hill."

I feel Colby grab my hand, they intertwine with each other and this hill was pretty much empty. Like, no one was here. A; it could be that it's 1.00 in the morning, or, it was an abandoned place. He didn't have his camera with him, making me extremely confused.

Colby was basically now dragging me along with the torchlight in his hand. "Trust me, it's going to be worth it." Colby told me, I didn't respond and hoped to god it would be worth it. Then again, why would Colby lie?

Five minutes later I was staring into the LA view, the stars above the street lights/shop lights are glowing all over the city making it look very beautiful. This was a lookout view for LA, one of the many. "Wow," was all I said, leaning on the fence that was keeping me falling down the mountain we had just climbed.

"It's sad, because no one ever comes to this viewpoint." Colby started, standing next to me closely. "I think it's abandoned, or too big to climb. I don't like to record this spot whenever I'm here, it helps me think and clear my head and stuff."

"I'm the only one you've told about this place?" I asked, glancing at him making him nod. "Should I feel special?"

"Incredibly special." Colby replied, before wrapping an arm around my shoulders and pulling me closer to him. "I feel kind of selfish having this place to myself. But I don't want anyone to ruin it with graffiti, you know? But I know you'd never do graffiti."

"Do you come here most nights?" I asked, looking back at the view. It's absolutely gorgeous and so worth the climb. It's only about a ten-minute climb, which isn't too big of a climb, really.

"Yeah, lately, to clear my head. I don't smoke weed, I promise. That's stuff gross and pointless," I completely agree with him. I feel really special that I'm the only one that he's told about

"Yeah," I tell him. It grew peaceful silence.

"Corey told you we were going to Australia, right?" Colby asked and I nodded. "Sorry, I probably should've told you but... I don't know, I just didn't."

I smile at him. "It's fine, Colbs."

"Make sure to visit this spot for me, okay?" Colby asked and I nodded. "Of course." "We should name this place,"

"Like what?"

"Hmm... Colby and Paisley's Point."

"Basic, but I like it." I say, smiling. And a little bit cliche, but I won't tell him that. "Is this gonna be another night where we're going to mess up my sleep schedule?"

"Yes, yes it is."
