A piece of Alex's mind

(Piper's POV)

Alex gently sat me down on a bar stool and slid me my drink that Nicky had just made.
"You have some explaining to do." Alex starts calmly, pretending to address me. After our conversation at the booth I knew she was talking to Sylvia.
Sylvia took the bait but insulted me in the process. Of course she did.
"Yeah you cheating whore. Spill." She spits at me. My eyes widened and I stopped sipping my drink, I began to lunge at Sylvia. Oh you want round two Sylvia? Alright come on then. She mockingly laughs and gestures at me to come closer with both hands as if to say 'bring it on'.
Just when I was about to, Alex stopped me and turned venomous once more. Even more so after hearing what Sylvia has just called me.
"I was talking to you. Thought you had a girlfriend Sylvie? And you're calling my wife the whore huh? I've also warned you about that before." Alex spits back. Starting to defend me and our marriage.
"Why? You jealous baby? That never stopped you before." Sylvia winks and nods to me, addressing when Alex cheated on her 11 years ago for me. Oh how dare she?! How dare she?! Let me at her! I lunges at her again, but again, my wife stopped me.
"Babe chill. I got this." Alex says softly, kissing me on the temple. Reassuring me. I gave her a 'fine' look and sat back down, taking another sip of my drink.
"I'd be careful if I were you Sylvie, when Pipes and I were in prison, she beat the shit out of a murderess oh and I have now won three fights with your rapist friend over there." She starts but I cut her off, choking on my drink at her revelation.
"Al, you what?!" I ask incredulously.
"I wanted and needed to protect you and our relationship Pipes. No buts, you know our rule about butts." Alex winks and smirks at me, I couldn't help but smirk back at this, especially with Sylvia watching and listening.
Alex turned back to Sylvia.
"But no. No jealousy. At least not towards you anyway. Nothing of the sort. That emotion only comes to me when I see Piper with someone else. Piper only." She says calmly yet venomously, raising her index finger matter of factly.
Sylvia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion,
"But? She just was." She says pointing in the direction of the now empty VIP booth.
Alex sarcastically nods.
"Ooooooh you mean that fucking kangaroo she had a fling with once?" She asks, keeping her tone calm and venomous.
"Yes!" Sylvia said happily. A little too happy.
Alex holds a hand up to her, gesturing for her not to get so happy so soon.
"Ah but you see Sylvie, as much as I hate Stella and as jealous as I once was seeing her so close to my girl. Yes you heard me, MY girl. I've now caught her twice trying to rape Pipes here and guess where she's going? Yes, you guessed it! Back to prison! Yay! Oh, and don't worry, I'll make sure they send her down. Again. Now, that only leaves me with one more problem out of two. Now let's all everyone guess who that is?" Alex pauses and looks between me, Nicky and Sylvia.
Going by Nicky's face she and I both knew who Alex was talking about and to, but clueless Sylvia had no idea and still thought Alex was talking about me so pointed at me.
"Eeh wrong." Alex says sarcastically, making a buzzing sound and continuing,
"You have one more guess Sylvie! I'll give you a clue, I'm not mad at Piper, I am mad at someone though but I'll go lightly with them if you get this right." She says, grinning evilly and briefly widening her eyes threateningly.

(Nicky's POV)

It was like I was a key witness to this whole situation and how it was going down. Piper was sitting opposite me, she looked like she had been crying and if I knew Alex, this ex of her's was going to pay for that. When it came to Vause, I couldn't help but think that she closely resembled a lioness again, protecting her Piper cub and kill the enemy trying to hurt her baby. The venom shooting in Sylvia's direction was unmissable by everyone except Sylvia. She clearly wanted Alex back going by the drool hanging out of her mouth as she looked at Alex. Piper wasn't one bit happy by it going by the two lunge attempts Alex had stopped, she had nothing to worry about, Vause very obviously loved only her. I saw the right hook she'd just given Carlin who had apparently also been released and I would most definitely not want to be on the receiving end of that. Remind me to never cross Vause.
