(Alex's POV)

After we, ah, made up, Piper and I were naked together in bed with my arm around her as she slept tucked into my side. She was exhausted I guess, we hadn't had sex like that since our honeymoon. We'd gone about 12 rounds, I wanted to prove just how sorry I was to her.
I was sitting up in bed watching the flat screen that came up from the end of our bed with Piper tucked under my arm asleep, her head resting on my chest as I played with her hair and ran my hand up and down her back soothingly. I was watching it on a low volume so I wouldn't wake her when my phone rang.
Keeping my eyes on the TV, I stretched over to my nightstand with my free arm, trying not to move too much so Piper wouldn't be disturbed, picked up my phone and answered it.
"Hello, is that Mrs Vause?" The voice at the other end of the phone asked.
I frowned in confusion and looked at my screen. The number wasn't registered in my contacts, it just came up as a number, so I put the phone back to my ear.
"It's one of the Mrs Vauses, it depends on who's calling and why." I said.
"Oh, my deepest apologies Mrs Vause. This is the manager of Hotel Halekulani, you stayed with us for your wedding." They said.
I relaxed at this.
"Oh, okay well this is Alex Vause, what can we do for you?" I asked, whispering since Piper was sleeping.
"We have heard about your successful nightclubs Mrs Vause and were wondering if you would consider setting one up on our grounds?" They asked.
I smiled and looked down at sleeping Piper. I'd promised her that we'd try again so I thought about my answer for a while.
"Mrs Vause?" The manager asked down the line.
"Oh, um, sorry yeah, I would love to." I reply.
"Well when is the soonest opportunity you can come?" They asked.
Again, I looked down at Piper who was peacefully asleep, her breathing slow and regular, her exhaled breaths chilling my chest.
"Tomorrow night." I tell them.
"Great! We'll see you then." They said excitedly and I hung up.
I smirked down at Piper, another surprise vacation for her was now on the cards. It was like 'Alex's apology 2.0'. I chuckled at this thought as I smirked at another thought that I voiced out loud.
"Well, we'll have plenty of alone time to boost your stamina babe." I chuckled at Piper and kissed her on the head.
I grabbed my phone again and checked the time, shit, it was 2:30AM. I shrugged and texted Jason anyway.

"Jason, Piper and I need to rush off to Hawaii tomorrow night, 7PM. Thanks. Alex."

I put my phone back on my nightstand as quietly as possible, switched off my bedside lamp and the TV and slid down the bed to snuggle with Piper as I fell asleep myself. Her in my arms.
