"I explained to Prince how I want the two of you to handle Kirk. I know you're still highly upset with him, but I want you to listen to what he says and act accordingly." Uncle Hakeem stated as he drank the last of his orange juice.

We had just finished having a big breakfast and I was putting the rinsed off dishes in the washing machine. Preston was upstairs getting one of his plushy toys to take on the plane with him, while the rest of us were downstairs talking waiting for my attorney to arrive.

"Yeah girl, listen to your maaann." Israfil teased.

"Stop it!"  Uncle Hakeem chastised him.

"I actually don't think you should give him a hard time. The man has been having to pry women off of him for years; I mean, he is Prince." Bilal stated.

"I don't give a damn if he was the Pope! I'm not going to okay his actions because of his status. I have a status too and it's called knowing my damn worth!" I gritted.

"Can I go as extra security Pops? I just want to see how Prince woos his way out of this, because his pimp game is legendary! None of his former lovers stays mad at him, and I need to see how he does it." Israfil started laughing.

"Enough!"  Uncle Hakeem abruptly spoke as he handed me his glass. "Matters of the heart isn't something to laugh about."

Uncle Hakeem and I stayed up for a long time last night talking. After I got my lawyer on the phone to have the documents written up, we talked about my feelings toward Prince, and Uncle Hakeem advised me on how to navigate my thoughts of uncertainty. He also told me about the many rumors he's heard about Prince over the years. Some I believed and some things I didn't, but I was still wowed to say the least.

After getting some rest, Uncle Hakeem awoke this morning and spent some one-on-one time with Preston while I cooked breakfast for everyone. During that time Bilal and Israfil was telling me bits and pieces of what was said in the meeting. Some things they wouldn't disclose, and that pissed me off because now Israfil was teasing me about Prince's past philandering.

"Is it possible for me to change one of my councilmen Uncle?"  I seriously asked.

"You wouldn't do that...would you?"  Israfil asked.

"I most certainly—"

An abrupt knock at my door interrupted me.

"Let me get it, that must be my attorney." I said as I walked toward the door.

As I opened the door, it was Miriam standing there out of breath with her suitcase in tow.

"Ms. Miriam, where have you been?!"  I shockingly asked as I helped her with her luggage.

"Madame, I'm very sorry but my car broke down and my cell phone stopped working due to my battery. Please forgive me." She rambled.

"No worries, I'm just glad that you're here. When you didn't show up to the recital yesterday and I couldn't contact you, I became worried and told my Godfather to call the police if you didn't show up at the airport. So I'm relieved to see you." I happily said.

"I'm sorry about missing Preston's first recital. Is he disappointed?" She asked.

"Not really, but he did ask about you."

"I can't believe I missed his recital." She disappointingly stated.

"I see you didn't miss this trip though!"  Israfil jokingly said.

Ms. Miriam looked up in shock, but broadly smiled upon seeing Israfil standing there.

"Oh my goodness, what are you guys doing here?" She beamed giving Israfil  a hug as she smiled at Uncle Hakeem and Bilal.
